I was in college in Alabama during the early '80's (yes, 1980's, not 1880's or 1780's) and one of my classes was Communications. Basically teaching college kids how to communicate.

We had to pick a subject for a ten minute speech and I was having a hard time finding something. Unbelievably, not everyone in Alabama wants to hear stories about how great the Oklahoma Sooners are, so I had to find something else.

I was reading a lot of stuff about the occult and witchcraft and decided to talk about it. My opening line was, "When was the last time you saw the devil walking down the street?" That got everyone's attention!!

I finished my speech, had tons of questions, which was surprising considering I was in the middle of the bible belt, and it was fun. No repercussions from kids telling their parents or anything, which was really cool.

Where am I going with this? Hell, I don't know, if I had a plan about anything it would surprise the crap out of everyone I know, including me!

Anyway, when was the last time you saw the devil walking down the street? Me? I saw him last night.  I said hi, he said hi, we both looked at Mars for a bit, chatted about the weather.  I asked if it really was hot in hell and he (it?) said, "You'll see."  Great, another wave function that won't collapse until I observe it.

Happy Halloween!
