Gypsy,

I have been very involve trying understand American health system, as for first time in life I now have US healthcare.

I hope my english is good enough explain what I learned.

The Female Condom is only covered by prescription in most healthcare plans. If my doctor actually write me prescription for FC2 then my health care plan actually cover some of cost and i get it discounted. Otherwise I must go someplace, (internet, online, sex store etc) that sells them at whatever price they decide. Apparently but I dont know if true, the drugstores have agreement that they will not sell the FC2 over counter retail.

Good example is like this. I have relative who is diabetic. She need insulin syringes. She can buy with no prescription at drug store cost 48.00 dollars a box. But if she has a prescription her insurance plan has agreement with drugstore to sell to her for 18.00 box. FC2 a little like that, except to best my knowledge they have agreement with FC2 company to not sell retail at all. I do not know why.

But i can solid say that the FC2 is very available walk in at a sex store near my home, and easy to buy online, no prescription.

Hope my post is understanable

Where in Phoenix can I buy female condoms?

Fascinations had them in stock. It was 8-10 months ago the last time I was in (it was the location on Shea/94th)

I order all my supplies from Condom Depot online. Way cheaper and you can buy in bulk.

Thanks Madison. I've only recently started reading this discussion board but I have noted how helpful you are. Thanks again.

I like Condom depot too.  I also like the they ship discrete .

Idk how Arizona gay bars are but Chicago gay bars have a bucket full of condoms/FC's laying around to promote safe sex... I have never bought FC's I've just grabbed handfuls when I go dancing with my boiz... Lol

.... i'll let you know if they are as plentiful to get in there bars as it is in Chicago or D.C. :-D.

Google is your friend on how to go snout buying them now.

FC condoms are available all over the net. And in many stores in Phoenix.

Just yesterday I noticed I was short before I leave for Vegas, so drop into Castle in North Phoenix and grabbed dozen.

Usually get them from Amazon Prime or Condomania.

They seem be available everywhere no prescription needed.

Of course I found them on line. The problem is I have date this weekend and ergo I wouldn't receive them in time. Madison said I could find them at Facinations , however I checked their website and they were not listed. Christen wrote that she picked some up at "Castle" but I'm not familiar with that establishment.

Its called Castle MegaStore.....I17 and Deer Valley but they have other locations I think.

If you could google the hell out of fc2, I'm not sure why you couldn't find castle stores online. Pretty big chain, easily found. Anyways, if you get desperate the site Lexi linked has an online prescription option where you can pick up at a local pharmacy instead of waiting for shipping. You have to download an app to an iOS device and a bunch of other rigamarole, but if it's desperate....

Also if you call the local planned parenthood office they will tell you how to get some. Allegedly.  Good luck.

Why does the pharmacy require a prescription for a female condom and the Castle store doesn't?

So now only the female condoms are assigned to one particular lady?  If you break up then the guy is not allowed to take the condoms to use elsewhere?

I found them at Castles Megastore. Thanks for the advice. Check out the Royal Reservations link under About Us on their website. Some pretty good articles there.

Great thread, useful information, thank you ladies!
