I like to be addressed by my name or Hi, this is (your Name) and (your Age)....
I was looking thru some ads and saw one with a girl that was very hot. I did some research and she has a couple of good reviews. She has call or text listed so I gave her a text. One time I texted a different girl and switched number around when I did. So from now on, I always say "hello, is this (ladies name)" to start to make sure I don't repeat that same mistake.
Apparently this is not the way to go since I got a response back "Why do people ask that dumb question?" Well, this isn't how I wanted this to start. So I explained my reason and she replied back "What ad did you see, what name is on the ad and does it match the phone number you are texting" and then "Unnecessary texts"
So ladies. What is the right way to contact you when texting for the first time?
i think the way you text was fine, just a bad attitude provider was the problem. maybe to bypass asking if this is (name)
start by saying... hey (provider) this is (your name) then either she will continue the conversation or say wromg person.

Personally I like when someone texts me with my name... It's more personal and I know that you're actually trying to get a hold of me instead of a wrong number!!
