TER Members,

As everyone knows there is tragedy in New Orleans & Mississippi. As recently resigning my commission to enter the real world of Medicine, my conditions in the past 22yrs of Military Service have shown me a great deal of hardship, death, unnecessary murder, slaughter, and general tragedy.

I have served as Chief of medical units in Iraq, Kuwait and Bosnia in my years as a military field medical surgeon, and I have faced combat on foreign soils. When tragedy happens in our own home, I was negligent to my own family.

I was not here during 9/11, I was not here in the previous attacks on the World Trade Center. But I am here now, to serve and assist in the efforts in Louisiana. I vow to put all my years of school, training and continued learning to its full knowledge. I do know that I will face death as I have before. I will face conditions of disease and un-healthiness. But I will face those conditions for MY COUNTRYMEN & WOMEN. I took that oath in 1980, and I still believe in it today.

With that said I am departing from Luke AFB to Fort Hood, onto the Jackson Barracks or Fort Polk to work side by side with my Army National Guard brethren.  

I apologize for this long post, but I wanted to let those that I wished to meet, and those that I have that I have not fallen off the face of the earth. To those gentlemen that I have corresponded with via email and channels, I thank you for all your input.

I wished to have attended yesterday’s events, but unfortunately was unable to do so. I believe all had a great time, and I wish to extend a great thanks to AZMystique for inviting me at the last minute.

With this I wish everyone good health, safe lives, and happy hunting. I will be deployed for a minimum of 1 month from my orders.

I havent been on the boards for a few days, and I see that you left us. I will openly say thank you for your patronage and taking a chance with me.

I dont know about everyone else, but I will miss him and all his intilect, and knowledge.

I will look for you in the news and wish you a safe return.
