1st off I want to apoligize to you for taking on an appt that I now regret. After 2 days of trying to set something up we agreed on meeting 1 hour after you woke me up out of bed. I rushed to get ready and barely running out the door I knew I shouldn't have done it to myself but thats my own fault.
To make a long story short.. I totaled my car on the 202 stopping-short into a work truck that had broken tail lights. My face is bruised and burnt from airbags and I spent that whole afternoon in a very smelly/busy hospital. Once I got home all I thought about was bed that is why I'm just now reading the boards and responding to your post. I do wanna say I was surprised you posted that and didn't give me a chance to rectify the problem but I'm mature enough to accept responsibility. With saying that I want to offer you a $100 discount from my regular rate of $350 to show you that I will and can go above and beyond to accomodate you. I am sure we can work this out and hope to see you soon. xoxo Sabrina
That's really sad news. I wish you a full and speedy recovery.
However I don't think your offer of $100 is going above and beyond. He spent $220 at the Marriott. Making good with him would be taking $220 off your rate. Going above and beyond would be a free one hour session imo. You will likely have made this new customer a regular by doing so.
Either way, I hope both parties can work it out to their satisfaction.
if there were guidelines or rules of thumb on this one... but guess thats the beauty of being an Inde.. with all due respect of course : ) I didn't want to say this but that location was the residence inn which is a chain of marriot I quoted the price of $159+ tax. : ) Good night & have a safe new year!!
I tell you what, if I ever decide to try and re-schedule, I will bring my receipt for the $220. I didn't really want to say that however. I have not responded because I have been out of town. Believe it or not, even though I am not a provider, I have demands on my time as well. I have not asked for any discounts or anything, and do not expect them.
As to the reason why I posted this the next day, I have yet to hear from you. In my business, even if I do have a valid reason for an appointment cancellation, I reach out to my client to re-schedule. If I expected them to chase after me, I would be a poor man.
Sorry for the callousness of this post, but I am getting the impression that I am the one who should be apologizong here! I thought this board was designed to keep hobbyists informed of these types of problems. Oh well, I will continue to operate under the radar from now on. Less hassle.
By the way Sabrina, I do sincerely hope that you are OK and feeling better.
I am shocked this guy has not repled. By the way I will be inScottsdale on Jan. 15 are you available. I have tried a few times to hook up but todate no luck.
I'm sure this gentleman will understand your situation. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Try to have a great New Year anyway, and maybe some champagne will kill the pain.
anything bad about you under 9886061's original post. I made a suggestion to go see someone else since it didn't work out. Sorry to dissappoint you. I hope you do feel better. After what you have been through in 2005, I do hope for you 2006 will bring you much joy.
