An even bigger Problem for the Lady

And yes I agree it is best just to ignore them.

As someone who has been stalked by both a hobbist as well as another provider, it is best to just leave them alone because karma will truly take care of the matter - as what goes around comes around.

Sad that some people have to do such things to others. Tell your client to block her emails/PM's and then he will not have to deal with her.  It has worked for me.  (I also blocked their numbers so they cannot call - some services you can do that with - it is great).

She pms them threating  to blacklist them  she e-mails them  threating  e-mails  this happened to one of my clients  and  she just had him confused with someone else she had never even met him a very nice guy and  it scared  him so bad he never posts here or will  not do a review now I am not going to name her  as most already know she does this  often...he tried to tell her it was not him but she kept at him ......yes certain  providers can become very scary  and best not to respond to their threads I just leave well enough alone act like their invisable  and try not to provoke them

Obviously that is pretty frightening and really the very first time, in almost four years, that I am aware of this type of Provider behavior. (I must be seeing the right Ladies!) I was aware a while ago, of one local Provider “Outing” a Hobbyist to his family, but always thought that was unusual and extreme.

On the other hand, I am more than aware of many examples of crazy, lunatic Hobbyists who stalk Providers for what can only be described as their own reasons. Sometimes what they perceive as being treated badly on the telephone, or the appointment not living up to their expectations, or even the Providers’  refusal to see them for a second appointment, etc. Of course there is always the infatuated (actually obsessed) Hobbyist turned “Stalker.” All are, I am certain, absolutely terrifying for the Provider, considering that such minor little actions by the Provider could result in such behavior by a Hobbyist. To make matters worse, the Provider is in a position of little recourse.

I believe this is a far bigger problem for the Provider being stalked by a crazed Hobbyist than vice versa.

I have heard of many horror stories of providers being "stalked."
But, almost as many stories of providers being "stalkerish."
It's scary for both sides.  Discretion should be observed by all.  :)
Thanks for the great post!

cyber bullys can be both  women and men  you just do not hear the men talk as much about it  they just have more to lose when someone starts saying I know where you work or live ...be it true  or not it scares you.....or even the threat of blacklisting.... women that tend to over blacklist I shy away from

I just can't understand how a hobbyist becomes obsessed over a lady when there's thousands of other ones out there to see, I fully understand the power of putang, but c'mon.

Ha see cdsfix my tomboyish ways that you always hated come in handy, I never get stalked the men know I would rip their arm off and beat them with it lol

Been there just this past year. Not sure if stalked, but certainly bashed and harrased.  A provider from out of state, she was getting raving reviews, but she false advertized on her website as far as I was concerned.  Don't touch me this way or that, when I was done, I just wanted to leave and not say anything, then the nasty emails started coming because she thought I was going to do a review.  She somehow even found out my last name.  We agreed to leave each other alone, but she continued to bash me on a provider board.

This is the best reason why NOT to give your last name and where you work to a provider.  There are better ways to both feel safe without giving that information.

A burner phone or a pay as you go is invaluable.... Leave it at work..gym locker whatever but you never have to worry about stalking...also never carry I'd when you go in to visit the lady

And unfortunately a provider being stalked has no choice but to meet the demands of the stalker, knowing that she has nowhere to turn.
