The past few years I have had a simple rule around the holidays. New Years, was meant to be enjoyed with people I care about having great conversation of all our incredible adventures, laughter and precious moments we experienced. And what the future holds (bucket lists style). Even if over an intimate dinner and drinks at a small resort.
Only the positives, because there are so many blessings we are given each day. From a good cup of coffee, to the warmth of the sunshine coming through the window on our body, to that mysterious person we see in a grocery store, to the most incredible sunsets anywhere on the planet.
This year, I have had so many incredible adventures. Truly blessed. You could always set your alarm Victoria for midnight, pull Nicky out of bed, hold him close, and dance as the ball drops on tv. Being thankful for all the pleasure he has given you through the year. I am sure there is some doggie treat he would deeply enjoy getting at midnight!
A shout out to one special lady - she knows who she is. Thank you for the memory and experience that has set me on a new phase to my journeys for the coming year. Don't know why or how it happened, but it will always be something I treasure. And if our paths only ever cross that one time, I wil be thankful for it.

I am getting my first New Years Eve kiss! I took an offer I couldn't resist and will be on vacation until the 15th of January. It's a destination I plan on keeping secret! I don't always kiss & tell. 
Maybe I can bring over some treats for Nicky & you before I leave, Vic. I think justdonebyu's advice or recommendation is very sage.
...or better yet, I can sneak over give you a midnight kiss & have you singing the tune "I kissed a girl & I liked it...." before you even knew what hit you! Lol
Happy new years everyone! I wish lots of Love, Abundance, Prosperity, & Happiness into everyone's life.
And now everyone I know has plans. So I'll probably just sit out on my porch, have a cigar & a beer and hope next year starts as good as this one ended.
