When I am talking with a woman and she holds my arm in both hand, I instantly melt.  I was wondering if this is a technique or simply a show of affection.  Try it and see if it works and let me know if it is just me that it affects this way.  I don't want answers like holding on to something else with both hands is better. LOL. Remember, you have to set the mood.

A woman (& a courtesan) would grab a man's arm with both her hands and escort (pardon the pun) him to dinner or be escorted to dinner or on a walk outside. You'll see it in a lot of movies. I guess you can tell I'm a movie and history buff. It is flattering and shows a man respect, as well as the gentlemen protecting her. Thanks for reminding me of that. I need to do that more often. Wink!
