I had the same experience about 20 years ago here in Phoenix.  It was ALSO on a Sunday and one of the channels sent a news crew out to my house to have me ring my wind chimes "like happened in the earthquake". SLOW news day !!!

As long as you live thru them, being in CA is more interesting!!

My hanging plants were swaying and I felt a weird sensation like your equilibrium was off...totally scary

I didn't feel the one yesterday was in transit

Arizona may one day have a beach...
