Art or Theatre?
Hi Ladies & Gents,
It's my first time in Philly and I always like to take a day on my own time to visit some of the local sights. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a great show that I might want to see, preferably a local artist or theatre company as I noticed there were a lot of options when I googled it and I really wasn't sure what had a local influence or flavour.

The Van Gogh Up Close exhibit begins today at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Tickets around $30.
For anything local try Old City and Northern Liberties.

I love Rodin and the nerd in me has made the Mutter museum a must see. I mean who wouldn't want a souvenir photograph with Einsteins amygdala? 
Several people have PM'd about the Art Museum (thanks) so I am hoping to fit it in as well.
I will say this I am really surprised how much there is to do in this city, I am not sure who handles the city marketing & tourism campaigns but I hope they focus on it (and the Canadian market). I had no idea the city had so many galleries and exhibits and some very impressive permanent collections, if I knew about the Rodins I probably would have come years ago as it's a lot cheaper than going to Paris. I am really enjoying the city, the nice weather helps too, so nice of you to arrange it for me.
