Yesterday morning around 8 I had another seizure, like the one from October 7, but this one didn't knock me out - I remained fully conscious the entire time. I heard the nurses & EMT's refer to it as a focal seizure, while describing the October episode as a "grand mal" seizure, and they put it into layman's terms by stating this one was nowhere near as bad as that one. Getting sent home after having been there less than 6 hours told me that. I have an appointment on Wednesday @ 230PM to see the radiation oncologist @ S. J. Healthcare in Vineland Dr. Smith. In addition, a brain MRI is scheduled on Thursday afternoon @ 1 @ Elmer Hospital. They will find nothing but brains & residual scar tissue from last October. Please continue to keep us, my doctors, and my nurses in your prayers.

Thanks.  A Brain MRI is scheduled for Thursday, but I know what the test will find & not find.  It will find dead cancer cells from last October causing the pressure that resulted in yesterday's seizure, weaker in comparision to the one in October.  Radiation is good for killing it but not for vaccuuming the waste out.  What the test will not find is any living cancer cells.  The bottom line is that only an increase in my anti-seizure meds will result.  That will be a hoot, considering I saw the neurologist last Wednesday who considered just that until he saw in person how good I appeared, 5 days prior to a seizure.

Hang in their brother!  This is just a little detour on the journey, I've had some experience with focal seizures and while scary enough they aren't nearly as bad as Grand Mal's.  You're winning as long as the MRI's keep finding brain matter!!!!  Stay strong and we're all thinking about you.
