But the same things have been said over and over and over (no offense to you) and here we still are, talking about it yet again rather than talking about the ladies or our experiences or sharing info. The good stuff gets pushed to page 2 and beyond by the personal BS. And I am really not making it up - providers really do ask me what the hell is going on.
In my view, a mod can help set the tone for a board. I'm definitely not suggesting scrutinizing each and every post; just don't let this place become a free-for-all. And I will freely admit that I PMed Fuzzy on the issue. I can appreciate how you and probably others feel about it. But, as you said, I felt it is the only recourse. I don't want to become, or others to become, like those galaxy mentioned who are afraid to post or no longer are interested in posting about the hobby because it's being drowned out. That does all of us no good.

Lastly, some of us are tired of having our time taken up during encounters with questions about the board like "What's up with so-and-so?" "Why is so-and-so that miserable?" "What is up with that thread?" There's other things I'd rather be doing in sessions than getting questions like that. And don't think for a minute this shit doesn't reflect on all of us. Screening, references, phone numbers and oh yeah you're from Philly, are you one of the complainers?

had a few providers recently ask me what the hell is up with the Philly board?? Apparantly some of the other boards don't have the back and forth hostilty we have seen here lately.. it is a reflection on all of us.. if we want to keep the talent coming in ..the treveling ladies check out the local boards before touring.. its supposed to be about sex not drama
Guilty...you'll not hear another peep or negative comment from me. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. All I'd like to see is a little decorum and good taste. Fun is fun but let's check the side arms and flamethrowers at the door. We've had flashes of brilliance and we can still make this an enjoyable, classy place to be. Know what Lefty...I think you're right. After reading your response, I reread my hastily written (no excuse, just fact) not very well thought out post and realized my approach, while gut-level appealing isn't really the right one. Yes, there is a lot of sniping and fighting here, and sometimes I'm left scratching my head as to WTF is going on? But, that's life...the good, the bad and the ugly.
My misdirected comment/reply was to the people who feel the need to complain to Phuzzmeister about all the fighting. Just seems kinda school girl, tattle tale to me. But I guess they feel that's their only recourse.
Anyways, thanks for your input, and while I still think moaning to the board mod is a bit over the top, I'll try to control my more visceral responses in the future.

Again, as discussed in the thread below (Drama and Showboating), for some, even negative attention is better than no attention at all. Much like dealing with children or employees who do stuff just to get your goat.
Unfortunately 95% of the bitching and moaning is generated in response to only one of the local providers and we all know who that provider is!!! Shut her down and the problem will go away.
