I have over 30 reviews and many more that I dont review but only have 1 whitelist (from Molly) so I was intrigued by your statement "I do find it strange when a guy has 20 reviews and no whitelistings. What is that message?"
I never even think to ask someone to whitelist me. Molly asked me if I wanted it and I just said yes. Of course when asked I do provide references. Because of so many boards, I do not know how many Providers even know about the whitelist. Long story short, for both Hobbyist and Provider, if the person sounds together, can speak intelligibly and seems to know the business, that is probably just as good as reference.
What is your take on being whitelisted. Should it matter if a person is whitelisted by locals or a well- reviewed/ well - known travelling girl. How about an agency? In my opinion, In order of ranking/ validity/ creedence:
1) I would think that a whitelisting from a respected well known agency would be the best reference
2) A well known travelling provider would be second
3) A local girl would be third
I would like to know your take on it. This question came up recently and I thought having 4 whitelist reviews would be golden... Do you girls think that 4 whitelist reviews is a good screening tool?
Do you guys ask to be whitelist? Is an area on this site to see who a provider whitelisted? Do you girls whitelist a guy automatically after you have seen them and the experience is positive?
Thank for taking the time to read and respond to this post.

If I see that a gentleman has several (4 is good) whitelistings from girls that I can verify then I don't need any other screening information. I really don't care to know where you work or what your last name is. All I need to know is that you treat the ladies well enough for them to whitelist you.

I whitelist those who I would recommend to a friend.

Also the type of ladies you see and/or review will determine whether or not you are whitelisted. I think that if a hobbyist sticks to agencies where a scheduler or someone does all the online stuff for the ladies and white list would be less likely to get from them than from indy's who are on the boards personally all the time. I have gotten 2 whitelists from providers though I have a bunch of reviews. I can tell you its not that I treated any of those other ladies less courteously or anything...just didn't get 'em. Its just that these 2 particular ladies are on the boards all the time.
I guess in the screening process whitelists are like icing on the cake.

that anyone can "read" the TER reviews and discussion boards... (heck, they could even pretend to be Jack0, don't quite know why they would pick him, but they could) and say to a lady doing screening "...and by the way I have been White listed 100 times and my TER handle is 'TotallyStolen'" There is just no way to verify that the person on the other end of the phone is the person the lady is talking with... which is why I refer ladies to do a search on me... and they will get a website with my pic on it... so that when I show up - they know it is me.
Whitelists are good if the lady has a ter account and can receive PM's from the guy in her TER Mail addy.. and I have had ladies verify me that way.... as only you have the ability to e-mail from your VIP account. Handy no???
finally, this should be private information... only in TER. or at least that is my view. as to which would be most valuable? Indy ladies... that to me would mean that the lady herself wrote the review and that is her opinion... READ the recent post & thread about GoldenBear22 by Octavia and the follow up message by Heather on the general discussion board! now that is high praise... and I would take that anyday over a half-dozen white list posts.... I mean... what a complement.... we should get so lucky!

is a great screening tool. That combo, in my opinion, should be in essence" a reference"
I am not a paying member of TER yet. So I don't have access to a white list. Heck I never even heard of it till now.
I agree with your post though.
I find the fact that you have a website with your pic quite intelligent risky but non the less great Idea.
Usually, if a gent sends me a pic the file is too big for my email but a link to a pic is a fabulous idea, indeed.
When I check a reference of a gent who says he is a well known board handle, I check out his email and ask him for a description and I verify this with his reviews and his references.
Maddy went to Philly a long time ago.
what a great town.
If you ever get to SC or NC.
Look up a great philly names

we ask the guy to send us a pm using the ter mail system to verify that yes indeedy it is him.
I've never asked to be whitelisted, tho I had 2 whitelist me. One has passed away and the other retired, so I guess I will soon have zero, LOL
It is nice that the providers took the time to whitelist me, but it's not a big deal to me.
If someone is white listed it says a lot to me - if a new client lets me know he is white listed I do not ask for any other verification, as I know that the lady has had to make the effort to add him.
I have white listed a few clients myself - In each case I offered this to them as I felt they were wonderful in every way and deserved to be acknowledged as being so.
I suppose In my own way I am giving them a much deserved 'review' as such (-;
Whitelisting is a review of the hobbyist.
In that case, I'm flattered as hell to have had 2.
Okay here is my thoughts from an agency as well as a retired provider! Guys that have given my loyal support hroughout the years and the months with my ladies and myself they recieve a whitelisting! But, that does not mean that ladies should still surpass screening someone! You never know when and if someone turns to be an informant or what has happened in their time! You should still do your screening!
that is just my HO
