Cole Hamels today looked like Steve Carlton.  And in an era of big guys hitting long home runs, the key play was a bunt.

I actually have a really good feeling about Myers vs. Sabathia tomorrow night, too.  I tend to think that Brett's last two games were due to having thrown that CG on 3 days rest, and the extra time since his last start will regenerate him.  And in case anyone needs a reminder, here are CC's stats from last year's postseason:

3 G, 15.1 IP, 21 H, 15 ER, 8.80 ERA 1 W, 2 L.

Not very intimidating, in my estimation.

Phillies need to hit the ball in game 2. 4 hits in game 1 including an infield hit that should have been an out and a fly ball that should have been caught, other than that 2 measely hits.

Well said.  The bats had better be a little stronger today vs. CC.

And Brett Myers has to at least be effective enough to keep the Phils in the game if indeed CC has a good outing for the Brewers.
