As some of you know I had attracted the attentions of a stripper to provide for me - on the side.... yes you know the white envelop situation....  

anyway, we've now met for 3 separate sessions... the first- hotel of my choice - and everything went extremely well... the second... her choice on hotel... but my camera was stolen... and as we never left the room - well!  you can guess....

Finally we set up again at the same hotel (me figuring that I had just misplaced the camera... and thought that since during looking for it as the lass commented that she did not have a camera - I would buy her one to take pics of her kids....  

We met again at the hotel she had suggested.... long story short... we had a bit to drink, some fun, and then we went out to eat.... I passed out upon our return!  Not something I am prone to do.... woke up in the AM.... my credit card was missing... Camera was missing. as was ALL of my money - including the $$ for her troubles....

in short!  I am seeking opinions - what do you guys and gals think!??? I really want to know.  Oh, been trying to contact her all day!

Jeez, B-Dude!  I leave town for a week and all hell breaks loose.  I'm sorry to hear about your situation.  

Several weeks ago, I lost my wallet in Philly with all of my credit cards and $500.  It was my own stupidity.  I was supposed to see Macy that evening and I was beyond being bummed.  

Guys wonder why I care so much for Macy and here's the answer.  She had recently gone through the same thing and she helped me noodle through all of the cancellations and reporting.  More importantly she was there to help me lick my wounds without any payment or expectations.  She knew I was pissed and she hung in there with me.  

I hate when that sort of thing happens, dude, but thank your lucky stars.  It could have been a whole lot worse.  We could have read about you in the news.

My story had a happier ending.  The day I got home, there was an envelope with no return address and a philly post mark.  In it was my wallet, ID and credit cards.  The $500 was gone(little wonder...after all, this is the real world and the folks who found it, at least, had the decency to return almost everything) and I had already canceled my CC's.  

What I gained was a friend who had and has my back.  Chalk one up, B-dude.  Based on the responses to your post, there are a lot of folks who care about you.  

For all you guys who question Macy's motives or her actions, what more can I add about her that I haven't said before?  She is the real deal.

Why would anyone make up a story like this?  If anything, this is a heads up.  

Sometimes the little head thinks louder than the big one.  B-Dude, that is a good idea about taking only the essentials to a session.  

In my case, I can only hope that the person who found my wallet and had the decency to return it, needed the money.  It would have been found near a hospital so being the optimist that I am, I rationalized that this was the case.  If it were a low life, they wouldn't have returned the wallet and tried to use the cards.

Sorry to read that this happened to you Bizz.  Appreciate your sharing your info for the benefit of others as well as solicitign thoughts. Agreed that it can only be a lesson learned and move on.  Your positive attitude in spite of it all amazes me and speaks to your outlook - there's a silver lining in a tough experience. You came out personally unscathed although I'm sure your trust in people took a hit.

This has been an interesting thread and again shows how valuable this board can be. Touched on the bad and good in the people in this activity.  Thanks Bizz and lazerlite in particular, as well as all the others who related stories.

is such as it is...  I hobbied from about 1987 or so to my marriage in 1992.... then from my divorce ~2002 or so to now.... I've had a few gals.... previously under another handle I had reviewed about 25 or so gals.... I don't review every gal or every encounter with every gal... soooo.... all told... more than 60 or so encounters... (not including civie encounters during the same period... after all - we are talking professional here).  In all that time and encounters.... one - count em... one encounter like this.  heck, I've run into more bad dentists than bad providers!  or bad business associates - rather than bad providers...

TO SAY NOTHING of what the legal system allowed my ex to do to my 401K!  lol!  and what she was going to do to the kids' college trust funds....

Which is why, I look at this and say "Wow, so that is what it feels like to truly get ripped off.... in this profession...  !!! " compared to what a less than honest business partner did to me?  hey, this is light stuff.  And I truly appreciate all the comments from the Philly board.  We can all learn that the ladies in this as professionals... are just as professional as our other professionals - Doctors, lawyers, dentists (OK, most are good!) etc.
