Hello,

I had many inquiries from old friends asking when I was going to return to KOP.

I had planned a trip starting next Monday 27th, but due to the recent busts mentioned in the article bellow, I decided to cancel it.

When things cools off and KOP is safe again, I will plan to visit you.

Again, sorry!

They say they don't want any dead bodies.. they should prolly be working a little harder in Philadelphia then. A good handful of hobbyists seem hesitant to give out information- which I completely understand- but unfortunately at this time us girls need concrete information for our protection.

"During undercover investigations over the past year, police arrested about 25 suspected call girls and seized $20,000. "

I just saw someone in a popular KOP hotel on that week and on my way out I saw one monger waiting at another door, and when I turned the corner and I saw another.  I wonder how many providers are using the same hotel on the same day and floor.

I'm from the SJ burbs so I don't know as much about the burbs west of the city as our PA residents of the board.  I know KOP is a kind focal point community, where people seem to venture to or travel thru.  I always wondered why many providers choose KOP to host their incall when travelling to Philly, instead of staying in the city itself.  What's the big draw?  Is it because it's the base suburban town that the wealthy hobbyists can easily travel to?  Can't just be because there's a lot of hotels to choose from or that they're that much cheaper.  I've heard from some providers that they prefer the city because they can walk anywhere:  to a restaurant, a bar, a cafe, etc.  Where being in the burbs, you need tranportation or you're just sitting in a hotel room most of the trip.  So what's the big attraction for providers staying in KOP?  I think a provider is less likely to get busted in the city than the burbs.  What else do the cops in the burbs have to do other than harrass escorts?  In the city, the cops are a little preoccupied with guns and violence so aren't so concerned with women trying to make a living by providing some pleasurable experiences, as long as they're not involved in drugs and such.

You make excellent points.  I suspect there is a decent demand from geographically far out suburban hobbyists.  It's frustrating to me as I prefer CC.

In my personal case, coming from SNJ or CNJ, I only have to take highways and there is not much traffic (depending on the time of the day).

Many guys living in the suburbs prefer KOP because is easier and faster to get to it and parking is not much of a problem.

There are many tech companies around KOP and these guys are excellent clients.

In general, KOP attracts clients who work or live around Philly, guys who doesn't like to drive into the city.

Hotelwise, I think KOP is not cheaper...not the hotels I like to use.

Yesterday, I was looking into hotels in Philly and was surprised to see how affordable they are.

I am considering a trip to Philly instead and, f works out, add to my regular schedule.

From what I've been told, KOP is used a lot because of ease to get to.  Like others, I prefer going into CC and suggest that to providers as well, because despite the traffic hassle and cost of parking (if I drive), the odds are far better of anonymity and security, which to me are the over-riding factors.

I live, work & play in KoP.  It's the center of the universe with all the major highways passing through.
The only problem is the high volume of providers that stop here.
As most hobbiest know, a percentage of providers are rip-offs...creating confrontations that most hotels don't want.
The local LE I know say they simply respond to calls.  Mostly disturbances.
You would see many more arrests in Philly if their LE actually responded to disturbance calls.
Downtown the hotels police themselves, quietly.  In KoP, they call the cops.

For me, KOP is just too far to drive from SNJ.  I see ads for lots of terrific ladies I'd visit in a heartbeat if they were in CC.  Between LE heat and the distance (especially on the Schuykill), no way I go to KOP.

It’s not necessarily that LE is more visible in KOP vs. CC that’s the problem.  It’s that providers need to do a better job at screening clients, and Guy’s need to be on the lookout for B&S scams that create undo attention to the hotels.  Girls are getting busted because they’re not screening properly.  Yes it’s true that LE in KOP don’t have the crime problems the city cops have to deal with on a daily basis so they have more time to perform stings.  But good business practices will keep this hobby safe no matter where the location is.

Just my .02 cents

I for one like KOP because of the convenience.

I live and work in the suburbs, so a trip into center city or the airport is out of the question since it is not in my normal travels.  If I got a traffic ticket, broke down, or worse yet - had a fender bender, it would be REALLY HARD to explain why I was in C.C or at the A/P!! ...if you catch my drift =).  However, at KOP there is a huge mall which is not outside my normal travels.  I could always say I was at the mall - get the picture?  I saw our own lovely Tiffany in Plymouth Meeting, again, close proximity to a mall.  ...Plus both KOP and Plymouth Meeting are right off the turnpike.  You go through the toll both and you are there in no time - SOOO EASY!!.  Drive right up to the hotel, park, and walk right in no hassle, Plus its free.  I drive a Pickup truck and that is a pain to maneuver and park downtown.  I once had to pay some goofy guy $20 to park my "oversized vehicle" in his lot.  So, those are the reasons why this hobbyist prefers KOP vs. CC or the airport. ...and I'm guessing they are the same reasons for other hobbyists who live and work out here in the 'burbs.

Oh Well, I guess for now it's lay low and stick with the tried and true, and someone you have seen before and can trust.

...just my $.02 =)).

Convenient or not depends on where you live and work.  I live in SNJ and work in CC, so CC and airport are most convenient to me. But distance isn't a constraint to me where I hobby because I have a flexible work schedule.  I am willing to drive up to 1.25 hour to see providers, so KOP and CNJ are both within my hobbying comfort zone.  Although KOP is closer than Edison to me, I hobbied more often in CNJ than KOP because it took me as much time or about one hour to get to Edison as to KOP in non-rush hour.  Schukill has killer traffic because I can never get over 35 mph even in non-rush hour, but 70 mph is regular speed in the NJ Turnpike. I can understand why KOP folks don't like coming to cc and cc/SNJ folks don't like KOP because there is no quite trip in either direction.

I agree. I live in western Chesco so getting to KOP is over a 30 minute drive for me. And, since I prefer to spend more time with my date than driving an hour session may not be worth the trip unless I know the provider.  So, given recent events I'm sticking to providers in the area I know.  If I already know them I know it's safe and my time will be well spent.  And, she knows me so she doesn't have to worry either.  For those of us wanting to see a lady for the first time we have to be considerate of their need for verifiable info.

Being in the tech industry and having met at least 5 providers in KOP,it is a great location since it takes us 30-45 minutes to get to the city and 15 minutes to KOP. We feel safer and can stop by on our way home.  There is a fortune to be made in KOP if it can be done safely.  No easy answer here.

What about a trade show? :)

KOP is becoming the new provider hot spot.  More is not better for the hobby because it is drawing attention.   The last few appointments I had in KOP were in the same 2 to 3 hotels.  Indy don't talk to each other and so they all end up staying in the same few favorite hotels.  Unlike cc where there are lot of tourists and convention visitors and the hotels are huge and easy to blend in, no suburb can absorb so many providers in one place. If providers want to visit suburbs, they should spread out to other burbs or go to the city.  LE are too busy with record murder and violent crime rates in the city and they have no time to bother with victimless crimes.

incall location... low key - not too many know it is there.... and easy access.

within the triangle formed by the blue route, the turnpike and the schulkill - there are plenty of hotels....  ladies - look around... as this is good advice.
