I just looked at karina's web site and saw her pics, I also looked at Billieprices pics... I have to say, we seem to be getting a nice influx of new, and returning talent back to Philly....
Now, I've also read a couple of articles concerning the economy and that ladies are coming to the hobby as a result of the downturn... we live in interesting times...
so my question is - are we going to continue to see new (and returning) talent? or is this just a temporary fluke?
Interesting that you would say that. I use her as an example, but there are others. for my tastes, I love a consideration of what makes this hobby 'tick.' See Sophie's ad below. Mostly, if you had not noticed ads on Eros had dropped BELOW 90 providers for the Philly region, there are a lot of questions as to what is going on in the hobby community (due to the economic downturn) in general and now, we are hit with ladies shifting in and out of the hobby.... why all the movement!????? What does it signify, and in general - what will the impact be on the hobby as a whole? in our region? Will it be better - or not as good.
Sophie looks terrific, and had she not posted on this thread, I probably would not have noticed her... as to Karina, if you have seen her, then you know the high level of service AND companionship she provides... that is NOT white knighting, it simply is a fact. As is my praise fo the ladies at Joy's, Julianna (who if I could whisk her away - I would!) to Sloane, to many other ladies in our region...
my thoughts are - just a lot of new faces in our area.... are they all real (some are - and I know they are), are they all high quality? are they all as advertised.... The more we can discuss them, the better off the hobby will be... the more we can openly share our thoughts and experiences the better for the ladies and the gents.

I am pretty proud of my photography skills. I took them all by myself in the bathroom last night at my hotel... YES I know I have way too much time on my hands. But regardless, I thought they came out pretty good. So thank you superdude.

For a full 1 hour photo shoot:
$19.00 - for the memory stick
$ 1.00 - for each picture taken and provided
$90.00 - for my time during the shoot as well as the cost of the props that I supply and are used during the shoot.
$100.00 per hour (or prorated cost per min) for editing which you may wish me to do (blurring of the face, red eye removal, changing the focus, lighting effects etc.)
If you wish, I can burn a CD-ROM for an extra $15.00....
Finally, if you wish to keep the photos - and only you have a set, there is an additional $50 charge. Prior to the shoot, you will have to sign a standard model release form.

Well, so far there have been 5 posts in response to the original post and 1 has been on topic - Sophie's. We've had assertion that this thread is an ad BY Karina - it isn't, she did indeed follow the rules - but it is an ad FOR Karina and FOR the OP; added to all the other ones by the OP constitutes shilling IMO, although an attempt to circumvent that by raising other topics.
Back on point, and, as Sophie stated, I understand that touring is a good option when business in a lady's locale is not what she would like. And that's all I think we are seeing.
Who are the "new" and "returning" ladies, other than the one returning lady you feel obligated to post about every other day? I don't classify the other one you mentioned as "new" just because she posted on the board but has no website or ads. As you also stated, ads on Eros are way down. Many visitors, in part for the reason noted above.
As I mentioned to others in other communications....how do you know whose pictures you got on email (along with giving your IP address to whoever you emailed) ? Seems the pictures should have been posted here as a "teaser", wouldn't you say?
So from my perspective, there isn't a "fluke" nor are there are an influx of new or returning ladies. At least not in Philly. You've started and contributed thoughtfully to many threads - this isn't one of them.
look, mostly there are a host of ladies posting on Backpage, Eros and other places who have Never had a presence in Philly before nor do they have reviews. Tons of dudes have posted on this board "have you seen..." most of the time to be answered with silence.
As I have enunciated, and which you've ignored, having a dialog about what is going on in our community (and using specific folks as examples) is not inappropriate. To put it bluntly, I worry more about guys who come here, using an alias with NO reviews posted. I use an alias only for humor, not to attack.
As to what I know about the truth of the pictures in the e-mail - 'nuttin...' which is why I have continually advised the lady in question to get a web site. as to posting her pics here, I agree.... why did you not suggest that to her when she posted that she had such pics? It would have been a great suggestion.

Have you ever been with a lady when you are her first customer? (not her first sex partner, which is different)... I have.
what was it like. it was tough for the lady. she was worried that I would not like her. I did. she was worried that she would not be "good enough" - she exceeded expectations. but at the end of the session, the flood gates opened and she told me some of what she was going through. She had sat in a hotel for a whole day, waiting for a first customer... anyone, cause she needed to make (earn) money. She was a single mom. That I was kind, and provided her with encouragement helped her get through her first time. (oddly enough, she asked me out on a civie date - which I did not follow-up with)
Any lady that flirts with going into this business does need help. there is no school that teaches escorting 101. it is all OJT. that the lady in question is trying to understand what she is getting into before a full scale committment is commendable... yea, she is making a ton of mistakes.... but know what, making them now, is not so bad.
