After reading Christine's post below, I thought I'd 'share' a recent story on the same subject. I know everyone has their own screening methods/processes; to each his own. There have been some pretty heated debates elsewhere on this same subject. I was pretty surprised at some of the informative posts I've read lately about this. It goes from mild to wild. Seems to me, after reading this article in particular, that Many Gents have very good reason to not want to offer much personal info. Sadly it's a scenario we've heard now and then. I'm not knocking anyone's 'systems' when it comes to client info, but, gimme a break. WHY oh why would anyone feel the need to keep such detailed info on clients? It's just gotta come back to bite someone in the butt...

Just my .02!

I heard one  horror story that a client ID was exposed and black mailed by someone to expose his dealing with a provider by emailing to everyone in his work place. He ended up paying to keep the silence.
