This weekend the old ball and chain might give me some play time if she goes away....so I started looking at eros to see if there were any eligible companions.  What I did find was a whole lot of pretty faces with either ugly reviews, or NO reviews.  Once again, the adult entertainment world must think Philly guys are stupid.  I admit I've had my moments, but not a $400.00 mistake.  Be careful!! and check the reviews.

Yes, and its annoying as hell.  

I know personally I have to fight the urge to TOFTT with un-reviewed traveling ladies because I think about 50-70% of them are rip-offs or advertise GFE service but don't deliver. A simple rule I employ is "think globally - hire locally!"  Thanks to TER in helping balance the scale.

....I haven't given them a dime of my advertising dollars for quite some time. I won't again until or unless they find a way to cater to those who pay serve up their bread and butter!

Does anyone agree? Maybe not about your attitude about Eros but certainly about the return for your investment?

Eros will take ANYBODY'S money, and put up there whatever the provider wants.  If I were a reputable provider, I would find it insulting, to say the least.  What about "eros verified photos"?  What BS that is.  Yeah, verified 33 years ago.  Or how about a situation where the same provider advertises under two or three names (yep, it has happened)in the same week?  Supposedly there's a new provider mall coming out with "Athena" in the name somewhere, like Athenaslist.com or something to that effect.  Any help on this detail is appreciated.

and guys, I am still torn about writing a review on Laney - I can't even begin to know what to write...  Our time was truly unique.  If you have the chance to see her do not pass on it!  You will cry, you will laugh, it will change your world!   lol..  One thing is for sure, you will not  be sorry!

they are very easy to find on the web (actually too easy if ya ask me) and easy to navigate.  They also use pictures that could be used in Playboy.... so they gets lots o hits per day.  What I would like to know, how many hits result in an actual encounter...   I would also like to know what are their target markets (Age, geographic local, income bracket etc).  

Just as any good marketing person would do, so should the ladies... and lets face it, eros is one of the marketing depts for this biz... TER is like QA & QC!  The Eros "stamp of approval" means nothing to me, what does mean something to me is the note on a providers web site that says, check out my reviews... and I do.

I have also had another concept perking in my head... a site or a section of TER that would offer the ladies a chance to contact gents... to say, "hey, I have read your reviews/posts and like what you have to say, I think you are interesting,  would you care to have a session with me?"  

The last three encounters and some previous ones as well, have been like that.  The sessions have been really great, and I have felt much better about the whole exprience.  And I truly hope that the lady has enjoyed herself - as I did.

Yea, I hope that we are moving away from the Eros concept, any picture of anybody to advertise for the B&S nonsense....

The evening was mutually enjoyable for me. As I said before, I didn't want to say goodbye~

actually I am becoming a bit more interested in Eros these days.  In the past I would just follow the reviews, but when I followed the link to their Eros webpage I discovered that the girl was there and has since left the area.  So now I check Eros for visitors and then check to see if they have reviews.  I think the success behind Eros is their pics which are second to none.  TER should buy them out or come up with a competing product!

They have a fantastic model. They offer national coverage, they post your hits/stats by day, week & month, they offer calendar postings for travel dates, they generate an email every time someone requests your phone, email or web site information (It's up to the provider to follow up the email sent by the site), there is a review and message board. Of course they offer photo and text space.

The site generates A TON of traffic for my mere 26.00 bucks a month which makes EROS even more laughable to me as far as giving them another advertising dollar (although never say never).

The only real con is that the aesthetic is raw and could use some serious design and programming finesse however overall the functionality is superb.

I have everything I need in this site and would encourage more people to check it out!!

Since I've already had the pleasure of discussing this a bit in private during our very enjoyable recent time together, I'll share a few thoughts with the masses (mini plug: Laney is cute and hot and funny and nice and yada yada..lol.  Let's try and get her to visit more often!).  I like EROS, but like any advertising forum you need to consider its pros and cons.  What do I like - there are generally several pictures of the ladies, a small description, and rates and links to websites.  What don't I like -lots of pics that are too good to be true, no rates, no links, no reviews.  What do I do - I use it as a starting point.  I look for pics that are appealing to me.  I look for something in the eyes that suggests down to earth, fun loving, relaxed.  I'm not into PSE type performance, so your basic "wham bam thank you ma'am" all physical encounter doesn't do it for me.  And I follow-up my start on Eros with a look at reviews that reinforce (at least to me) that our personalities will mesh.  In the end you have to advertise in some manner.  I personally don't expect the advertising forum to give me anything but options and I don't expect them to screen for my personal likes or dislikes.  They offer a service (ad placement for money) and I don't presume it to be a recommendation, whether it be Eros or CL or any other adverting forum.  So in the end it's on us "the hobbyist" to do our own homework.

Yes, you are correct!!!  I have created a new site called www.athenasguide.com  Myself and 2 other partners have brought personal experience into creating a site.  Our goal is to give the hobbiest a reputable, clean, user friendly site.  We also want to provide a good advertising vehicle for the providers.  Currently, we are offering free upload of profiles.  The ladies in Philly need to go on the site and sign up.  We have had great success in other cities as well as internationally.  We are starting to impliment advertising campaigns to bring the traffic to the site.  I am please with the progress and hope everyone keeps logging in and checking us out. As we are adding new features to the site all the time.
