Down 2 in the 8th inning and then BOOM. 2 home runs....Victorino gets a two run home run and then a pinch hitter I never knew existed does the same thing!

All of those doubters beware~ WE are going to win this series!

The Philadelphia Phillies ARE going to be in the World Series and win the whole entire thing!

Philly is going to be the place to be!

Like Sarge says:

Get ahead of the count, get a fastball, and don't be late.  Shane Victorino & Matt Stairs were certainly not late!!!

Someone needs to tell that clown that his arm is NOT that good. I've witnessed at least 2 instances this post-season where he needlessly tried to throw a speedy runner out at home only to let the other baserunners take an extra base.
His Ego certainly does not match his throwing skills.

I think strongly that Pat will not be back next season.  It may mean less power, but whoever replaces him will most certainly be better defensively and a far superior baserunner.  A thought may be to see in spring training if Greg Dobbs can play LF.  If so, all that's needed would be a right-handed hitter that can play OF to play against left-handed pitching.

Burrell isn't the only one who does that - all the Philly outfielders do.  Keeping the hitter out of scoring position and letting the guy score is something I learned in high school ball.

Burrell really isn't that bad defensively - he is a pretty steady outfielder and he does have an accurate arm.  Also, if he isn't back next year, I think then people will appreciate his production.  He is always good for 30+ HRs and 90+ RBIs, though, his hot and cold streaks can be hard to take sometimes.
