I think that we should also be sending a concerted effort to lure more of the incredibly awesome independents that do travel to our fair city. It can't just be agencies.
For example, Heather of Tampa is here this week, and I for one cannot wait to enjoy my time with her. However there are many others. Below would be my most recent suggestion of someone to try to lure to our City of Brotherly Love.
Lots of hot indys right down 95 in MD and DC too. Will have to do some homework and post some links. Got one coming here soon - Laura DeLeon. I'm all for a campaign to bring more - but can we wait until June? May is already going to be as much as I can handle ! lol.
I don't have any specific sense of urgency to get my suggestions (or anyone elses...I can't believe no one else has any independents they want to get to Philly) here. However, it would probably take a concerted effort, so the sooner one begins, the better the chances of having beautiful visitors over the summer!

But hey, what I think is important and could be a way to go - if you have a fave, get them to post an "are you interested in my visit to your city?" post. That way - guys could PM or e-mail the lady of their interest... that was partially how we got Stevie here... as well as Heather and others.
And one of my favs - Ciera Sage - comes through about once or twice a year... she is truly nice.
...and will do my part to not only help convince indys to come, but will do my best to see 'em all! I am lucky enough to be able to hobby in NYC as well, so I get to see a lot of visiting gals there. I will put together some kind of list of who I'd be interested in & will post it soon.
Running campaign to lure providers to come to the city won't work. It's all biz determined by market performance. If the providers get enough calls, they will return; otherwise, kiss my ass and never. It's an investment venture for providers who come from out of state, the farther away, the greater the investment and risk. The problem is that many visiting overpriced themselves for the Philly market which, despite being the 5th or 6th largest city, isn't top in the income list to afford them to get busy. In Philly, it's the AMPs and the moderately priced providers who are popular and get very busy. But for providers who fly in from out of state, it's just not make economical sense to lower the rate.
I booked with a couple of ladies and I have to say, with the exception of one, I think I get pretty good value for $. Most expensive? my private UTR gal. But then, I get what I pay for, a very relaxed and unrushed atmosphere. where just about anything goes...
Well we've had several other suggestions in addition to my own. I say we need to get on our computers and start pecking out some collective emails. I think the idea posted earlier about inviting the provider to post a "would you be interested if I came..." email on the Philly board is an excellent idea.
However, I will point out the caveat that Heather of Tampa recently did this, got a strong response, came, and then ended up with a number of cancellations. That is simply not a reputation that we want to have as a city if we are to have beautiful women visit our fair corner of the world!
As unfortunate as it is there were cancellations...at least they were cancellations and not NC/NS and at least in part I think likely due to something Heather posted recently:
