CL ads?

Is it possible that many of those may be links to CL ads that expire?

I'm coming to town in a coupleweeks so I started doing some searches for what I'm looking for.  Many of the results come back with 'Report new website.'  Why so many without active web sites?  Has there been recent crackdowns on providers?

This is a tough one to figure out, IMO. From time to time and on other boards this seems to happen.  Many think it's some kind of glitch. Other attribute it to a provider traveling and the ad to which the review is hooked has expired and the provider needs to update the profile with the new ad.  In some cases the provider has indeed brought down the website to limit exposure.  There was also a time when old reviews were showing up on the first page of reviews for cities in addition to "report new website." It was explained that there may have been some other info in the profile updated, such as a phone number, which caused the proifle to move to the first page even though nothing else was new.  That's the best I know on this issue. Otherwise, if you have any specifics you want to post or PM, I'm sure you'll get suggestions from the guys on the board.

TER rejected one of my reviews of a CL provider due to "insufficient website" when I tried to post link to CL so I don't think the links are to CL ads.  I'd guess links though were to expired Eros ads, really only just one step above CL in the transience department.

If I said over 70% I dont think I would be too far off. Almost every real PROVIDER a website or at least a email addy.
