I am not personally against it, but i am however wondering how they could "identify" potential offenders...are they going to use the info provided for appointments?  What about potential for abuse?   and what qualifies you to be in "the book"?  
please let's talk about it...

What's on it?  A little bit of everything.  They claim it's for their security.  But, what the heh, why not pile it on?  There are notes on big tippers, rich guys, good hotels, good hotels to avoid, lunch invitations. Another black list won't mean anything.

The only people who need to be concerned about any sort of list are those who attack, abuse, violate and rip-off women. As far as How they're identified? Nothing detailed..simple email addy, board handle and a brief discription of their M.O.

I absolutely agree!  After the events of the past week to BJ and Gemini Starr, nobody and I mean NOBODY should begrudge the ladies a forum to share info for their own protection.  If they want to dish as well, well, that's their right, too.  I rather doubt anything nefarious is going on, because I rather doubt the vast majority of providers either need or want to bring trouble into their world.

I have ZERO problem with it.These Ladies are operating under a stress level that I think we men,anticipating that new,novel partner we are about to meet can NEVER possibly imagine.Any steps they take to protect their sisters from the few idiots who cross the line of acceptable behavior is fine with me.As to WHO determines where the line is and who and what crosses it?THEY do and I grant them the right to be as arbitrary as they like.

Sorry Hobbyists, you don't get a vote. If bad client lists don't exist in Philly (ask me about P.B. and his friend) or any other city for that matter, they should. We're not talking about the guy who shorts the envelope $20...he's just a jerk. When it comes to the a$$holes who actually are a physical threat to the ladies...well the lists should and do exist. If this is news to any of the guys, wake up and find another hobby.

The first priority is the physical safety of everyone involved!

understood...safety is serious issue.  but is this 'list' nationwide or regional or word of mouth? is this something any provider can download or view?  how is someone identified?  Is the information provided to meet providers used?
I am not trying to stop anything only trying to understand it.

good by being a clearing house for hobbiests as it is already for providers.  What I value most is my ID on this board.  If I see a provider who is active on this board, they know I have a certain style... and manner.  They also know that I may be a little boring... but I am not a physical threat - nor am I a "stalker" although I must admit - I enjoy flirting... and I do!

Thirsty is right, the guy who shorts $10's or 20's is either inconsiderate or a jerk.... do it too many times and people will know.  That is less of a concern than the guy who shows up with an obvious STD (or an unobvious STD...) the guy who gets his jollies by beating up a gal... let's face it, in Philly, we have had some really weird stuff happen - most of which is not the mainstream folks in this hobby but rather some of the more fringier parts of it.  

For the most part, I want this hobby safe - as a safer hobby means higher quality ladies, more fun and easier processes to get "dates."  I remember the days BEFORE the internet - and cell phones - were a part of this hobby (no, I do not know Fred Flintstone... but hey, Wilma ain't that bad!) talk about take your chances.  Going into a session there was a 20% chance you would be robbed,  beaten, or both.  And that was the guys.  I do support this concept... whether it exists or not.

Funny you should mention about tipping. I always prided myself on tipping well and giving gifts. I always thought that if a girl is nice and goes the extra mile a few extra $$$ or a nice piece of jewelry was a fitting way to make a girl feel special............until........One day I was in Hurry and didn’t have tine to pick anything up or hit an ATM and so out of desperation I stopped in a hotel gift shop and picked up the stupid little stuffed kangaroo.

I almost felt like an idiot giving it to my date but she freaked when she saw it and totally melted......Since then I have given little stuffed animals as gifts and I have found that giving a little furry creature can bring more joy to lady than a wad of cash or or gold necklace ever could.......I've found ducks and moose work best.

the REALLLY big whackos are easy to identify, trust us!!!!! As long as gentlemen act as such, there is no problem for anyone involved, and that is the most important thing to remember and keep sight of. HAPPY HUMPDAY!!!

Glad you liked the post. And yes...Ashley is a great lady. I guess you read my review on her. I need to ad some more It's been awhile since I've seen anyone.

I don't understand why Hobbyist are so worried  or feel threatened by a blacklist. If you are a gentleman and treat your providers like ladies with the care and respect that they deserve. You will never be on any such list.

AS long as you are respectful, nice, and are truthful in your reviews then there is no need to worry!  Happy hobbying!

I think if the women want to make one, so be it. I try to be a gentleman every time I have been on a "date". I try to leave thier life as good or better than I found it. (boyscout in me)

No seriously, They already talk and if I am deserving of a bad review, then I deserve it. If i didn't then I am counting on there being enough character witnesses to keep me in the game.
