And yes, its a minor discrepancy you point out, but still in the same general range.  It must be really slow for you to have to stoop to making a big deal out of differing numbers.  Did it occur to you that when you take ESTIMATES from different time periods, I may also be including a more recent time period in my estimate.  When I say I average 1-1.5 indies a month, I may be looking back at the last three or four months and counting the indies I saw.  Some months I will see one and some months I will see two.  If I saw 5 in the last four months, that's averaging 15 a year, but its ALSO BETWEEN 1.0 and 1.5 a month.  So both of my estimates are not mutually exclusive.  So once again, SOME months I see TWO indies, and SOME months I see one.  If you work with the numbers a little a little, you will find that if the correct number is anywhere between 12 and 18, my estimates are very accurate.  Your evidence of "lies" is much like your math.  You want so much to believe its the way you want it, that you just end up making yourself look small and petty.
