Anyone had any information on Rapid City?  Is there any local papers to check out for info?

I asked the same question on an earlier post.I did get a couple of replies already,but they are ladies from out of town that travel.You might try other message boards as well,I found one with a board devoted especially to South Dakota,but there were few postings!There's not a lot of people who live in SD,but a lot that visit.Good luck.
