as a gent i have been moving more and more to just a few favorite friends. there is just too much of a hassle in the game anymore. I also am looking for something different with the ladies i see now. I want an adventure with a friend with no expectations and someone who i can easily talk to. Since this is a P4P hobby perhaps some experiences from a gents point of view may shed some light. in LA you will find gents with a extra deep pockets but most of us do need to hobby within our limitations.
personally if it was up to me and not my pocket all my meetings would be 3 or 4 hours but it is not realistic for me. And some of my favorites have raised their rates so much over time I can not afford to see them anymore. I often feel sad that someone you developed a relationship with over a long time is no longer within reach. their ads are such a tease. But others do remain within reach. I find myself saving for major adventures with these ladies. I simply pay what i can afford based on past experiences with them. we usually spend 2 or more hours or even an overnight with a select few. overnights only happen once every other year or so. (a lot to save for). For those ladies it is an adventure something new and different, wild kinky sex, an night out, hiking in the woods, skydiving, skiing, followed by love making to celebrate the fun we just had.. an ADVENTURE!
So for the daily grind I usually only see a Fs provider every 6 to 8 weeks who charges 3.5 to 5 for an hour and I always hope for a little adventure! there is no way i would see a lady for a first time who had a 2hr or more hr min who's rate was a multiple of the above. because I could see a favorite for the same amount and know that our adventure will be exciting. reviews do not persuade me i only use reviews to weed out bad ones or validate their legitimacy. Sometimes it is all about me time so i will see a fbsm lady once a week or so. They are usually less than $$ an hr but i am not really looking for the whole gfe just a relaxing time.

So for such an experience is 1k worth it? Probably not since you can have an hr of crazy sex with the twins for 1K. When it gets down to it we are back to the discussion over the difference between a ladies time and that for sex. what ever any lady may think sex is worth more than your time.
In the past I have been a very utr provider, so my reviews are few. My special friends are ones with whom I enjoy spending time, enjoying each others company over dinner, drinks or even watching a movie together.
In considering returning, this is my largest concern. I do not see myself as a provider who would be content with hourly appointments. But, do many have time to spend?
My personal preference and goal would be to have one appointment per week, at a rate under 1k for several hours.
I have been absent from here for some time. Is this a viable plan for LA/OC?
Your suggestions and advice are most appreciated.

I am lucky if I play once a month & am interested in hopefully, starting to play once a week. I totally prefer longer appointments, but it is up to the gents to decide. Many only have time for 1, or 2 hours of fun.

You just have be VERY clear about your expectations and marketing. I myself would be very amenable to what you describe. An appt of several hours under $1k where the an hour or two of adult companionship is coupled with a movie, or a ball game, or whatever. Something that felt more like a "friends with benefits" situation. I of course understand providers have lives and can't do tons of OTC time, but to charge the same rate for non-adult activities during a longer date can be an impediment to those types of dates for many, especially if they are expected to cover the costs of all the non-adult extracurriculars as well. For myself, and I'm sure for many others, an experience like you describe would be very well received.

for me. Having been a Hobbyist for a few years, I now only book
overnites. As these are more expensive, I am more of a part-time hobbyist.
I feel that extended time with a provider is just so much more rewarding
and pleasurable. The key, for me, is taking my time to choose an overnite
guest. Homework is task one - M&G's, reviews, luncheon M & G's especially.
The luncheons offer a casual environment, allowing many opportunities to have
one on one & group conversations without the loud crowd noises associated with
nitetime M & G's. It provides hobbyists & providers the opportunity to gauge
compatibility, which is extremely important for Long rendezvous. Just my 2 cents
worth.
