Usually a week or so ahead.

Depends on the situation.  Usually 2 days or so because of a similar kind of work schedule, but if I see a girl who I am really interested in prebook early I will make sure I get in with her.  I also can be swayed same day by a special if I know the provider.

My work schedule tends to be erratic so I usually don't know my availability for than a couple days in advance.  I suppose that is why I tend to see a lot of touring girls who don't require a lot of notice.  Although, if I do know far enough in advance, the anticipation makes the event even more special--providing I have properly done my homework

I like to make sure I can get the time I want, so I give her plenty of notice.  Have never done a last-minute date, I like the anticipation.  I do have one advantage over you, I'm retired and don't work.  With an erratic work schedule, I'm sure it's tough to plan too far ahead, that kinda sucks.

I have in the past booked as early as a week ahead of time, I always prebooked with an agency that used to send providers here regularly a few years ago. They were reliable and things always went as scheduled. My profession back then also allowed me a more structured schedule.

Lately however I prefer to not book until the day of or day before. There is nothing worse than booking days in advance and then getting a cancellation, to be looking forward ot things and then getting the cancellation.

When I was new to it I always looked forward to things, but prebooking now is something that puts me in a situation where I might not even feel like meeting with the girl for whatever reason (tired from work, girl's reviews are good but not spectacular) and I am not one who cancels once I have made a commitment. So I would rather wait until day of or day before so I know I am really wanting to go and not feeling like I have to do it since I made the commitment days before. This also applies to happenstances that can happen after a prebook is made, family emergency, etc.

I'm just about to admit one of my flaws....I'm an organizational freak. When I tour out of state, I start planning generally two months in advance. For those gentlemen with a flexible schedule, this usually works out great. However, it can cause complications for those not able to plan in advance.

When I'm in town, I still tend to book myself one to two weeks out.
