Did you have a good time?

I hope so.

I stayed home and ordered a pizza.

I didn't have to deal with drunks or crowds of obnoxious people.

I didn't burn gas.

And my money didn't go to the mob.

Life is good. :-)

The new Horseshoe opened up in Cincinnati so I am going to try my luck at it :) Has anyone else been to any of the other new casinos?

And add another one for Tobi and I...it just keeps getting better and better :)

You'd have better luck playing Russian roulette with a full cylinder.  Why not just rent a room and spend the night with Tobi instead?  From what I know of her, it would be only slightly less risky, but the payoff is infinitely better.

I wouldn't be caught dead in a casino.  You're better off just sending the money you'll spend there to the local "family" if you know what I mean.

It's where it ultimately goes anyway.

I'm telling you, Ally.  Casinos are a nothing but a scam.

I saw something on television a while back.  A guy had a great night and was going to leave.  The people running the casino and adjacent hotel comped him a room and convinced him to come back the next night.  Guess what?  He not only lost it all back, but left a couple of grand in the hole.

The "family" doesn't like to part with its money.  Stay away.  Stay far away.

And your profession is considered a crime?

Puh-leeze.

By the way...  I have to insert a lawyer joke here.

Q: What do you have when a lawyer is buried up to his neck in sand?

A: A shortage of sand.

I have been to the Toledo casino a couple of times and had fun. If you go there to have fun, play a few games,  and a few drinks I think it is an enjoyable night out. If you go with the intent to come home rich, you are kinding yourself.
