I had a client a few weeks ago, who said he was new & hadn't ever seen anyone before.... ( I usually dnt accept anyone new, but every now & then if I can verify another way....due to alot of ter ppl trying to say they are new & then find they try to pull some bullshit on ya).

do NOT see clients in your home....PERIOD.
It is dangerous and there is no need for it.
If you can't afford a place besides your home to conduct biz, you shouldn't be doing it.
Don't mean to be harsh, but you need conduct your biz in more professional way

in this scenario.  If you knew the cable guy/friend was coming you should not have scheduled a date anywhere near that time.  Period.  Nothing else to discuss.

I understand stand ur situation, I was involved in running my own illegal business for many years. Different field. All I can say is that it comes with the game and you sometimes gotta take the L. Shit happens you will be alright.  

Honey, I'm going to be blunt with you here: while the guy sounds like a twat, you need to be way, WAY more firm when it comes to scheduling/donations/douchebaggery. First, you saw him without references (nothing wrong with that, I do alternate verification too) when you clearly aren't comfortable with newbies, or supposed newbies in this case. Next, you let him show up 45 minutes late for a 1hr date. Shit happens, people get stuck in traffic, etc., so 15-20 minutes is understandable. But 45? Seriously? Third, the guy shows up and decides that he wants two hours, and you agree despite wanting advance notice. I think it was douchey of him to complain about the cable guy when you had already told him that it was scheduled, but I don't blame him for being uncomfortable. In any event, you then accepted your 1hr rate for close to 2hrs of your time, and you let him be a twat about not being able to get hard again. Like I said before, the dude sounds like quite the douche, and I think he was playing games from the get-go, but you made it very clear to him very early on that he could get away with it.  

I don't run my appts back to back, so if you were wanting to schedule someone else and couldn't because he was late, what if he would've been on time and you still scheduled someone else?? I am low volume and I see up to 3 clients per day but I space that out from 8am til 10pm and at least 2-3 hours in between time.

None of us want to see her fail and or be put In harms way.

agreed. you telling your friend you are turning tricks from your own home and to watch out for the cable guy is absurd. you need a mentor before you get arrested or killed.  

For sure. Us ladies need to look out for each other. We're all sisters in this biz.

This reminds me of an AngelExotic post!  So scattered and winded!  But besides that, the guy did not BOOK 2 hrs so therefore is not entitled to receive one!  You were trying to juggle too many things in a short span of time with the cable appointment, etc which was your first mistake.  When the guy was late (because) he did not follow your directions as you said) you should have deducted at least some of the time from the time he booked (especially since you had all this other shit going on!)    Asking for more time that he did not book is rude but you were not smart enough or self respecting enough to tell him that you could not accommodate a longer session.  Next time, be clear & concise, don't set too many things up in one day (clients & other stuff) and don't put up with clients being 45 min late then asking for more time on top of that!!  RESPECT YOURSELF enough to stand your ground!!

there was only an hour available...  but I have to agree, dangerous to book so close to the Cable Appointment.  Cable rarely comes early but if they got done early on the previous job they just might.  
He did so many things wrong...  you'll not be seeing him again anyway.  A shame that any guy is so disrespectful.  If he's a previous hobbiest, he should know better & there a reason why he didn't admit, because he's pulled crap before & can't get a recommendation.  
1 bad review should not matter much.  If prospects ask about the review he'll probably write, be prepared with a brief explanation:  "He was late, then was unhappy when the cable guy showed up on time."
I would probably not be able to perform with anyone else there.  But he got more time than he paid for so should just let it go, in as much as you told him the cable guy was coming to repair it.

He was 40 minutes late. You should have canceled the appointment. Also, no unknown clients in your home. A regular is ok but a first timer is to large of a unknown and you should have seen him at a hotel or at a outcall he provided. Also what did he schedule for when he booked? 1 or 2 hours? If he scheduled 1 hour you should have stuck with it. If he scheduled 2 then you should have told him he could do one or reschedule because you couldn't accommodate him because of his lateness
