I'm looking for a new show to watch during the summer season and I keep seeing you all (select few, lol) talking about The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. So the question is, if you could only choose one which would you choose and why? Thanks in advance.

I'll give you two reasons that should really be enough to convince you:
1. Zombies
2. Daryl Dixon

However, I should expand by saying that if you are a fan of brilliant acting, captivating story lines, complex characters and gnarly special effects...you really do need to watch this show.  

Game of Thrones is great, but there's so much shit going on that you need to watch every episode twice before you can understand what in the hell is going on. There is the perk of graphic sex scenes, but you can get that from porn. How many places can you see this bitch?:

Not mention Breaking Bad. It's widely regarded as one of the finest television shows ever written.

My all time favorite HBO series is Deadwood. Guess its the Country Girl in me but I love westerns.

I only have two posters in our theater room, and this Deadwood poster is one of them (the other being Band of Brothers). Finest piece of programming ever made. Its framed in a gold-dust/dirt frame and is the centerpiece of the wall its on. Good call.
