Hey all,
Considering this hobby...  Scared of LE.  Any quick suggestions to avoid that and be sure of a good thing?

Get Vip on TER. It's worth its weight in gold. Read the self help center (life preserver up top), and do your homework. Stay away from unreviewed or lightly reviewed ladies. Read the reviews (need vip for all the info) and pm some of the reviewers to see if they left anything out or have any additional info to provide. Check out the reviewer, look at his reviews to see that he is an established reviewer with many reviews. Avoid the ladies with one review by a guy with one review. Nothing in this game is 100% so educate yourself as best you can. If you do all of your research you should be able to reduce the chance of LE to less than 1%, but again nothing is ever 100%. Read back on this board. This question comes up often and while I'm sure you'll get some great answers from the vets they won't all post on this one thread and you may be able to gleam additional information from past threads. Its a great hobby if you play it safe and take your time. Don't let the little head get the better of you and I'm sure you'll have fun.

Read the TER fantasy reviews, and check out the top 100 list in your city.  Doing your homework is the key to choosing a provider who fits all your naughty needs.  Every man is different, so what tickle's your fancy may not be available with every entertainer.  We all have our own personal preferences.  Sign up with P411, or a screening site because not all provider's are newbie friendly, like myself.  Happy Hobbying!

There are so many things you need to know and it would take all day to write it out. Use the self help center, get VIP, join Preferred411.com and take your time. There is nothing worse than a scared cat booking a date, then flaking the last minute because he can't go through with it. Spend some time getting comfortable with how this works before you take the plunge.

I now it's a long shot, but if you have a friend who is a Hobbyist maybe they can give you advice on what to look for and what to do. We can give you our tips and advice on what to do, but if you have a friend that can help you along, even better.

If you are married, then getting caught by the wife and ending up in divorce court is a much bigger worry, and believe I've been there and done that already.

Other much more common concerns are getting ripped off by a bad provider, or even getting rolled.

Protection from diseases should also be on your list of worries.

Not trying to dissuade you, but listen to all the voices on her advising you to study the crap out of this hobby before taking the plunge.

Once you take the plunge, the water is fine.

Start with the Newbie/Self Help Manual linked on this page.  Look for the red and white life preserver.

Get VIP membership here so you can read the juicy details of reviews.  Consider joining one or more of the verification sites.  Being new, you have no references for screening.  If you only see well-reviewed providers whose reviews are done by hobbyists that have several reviews to their credit, LE is less likely to be a problem.  One key to safety here is research.
