Where do I find my TER number? Provider is asking for verification.

I've also looked under my screen name and no number. So confused.

TER may assign you a number for their own accounting purposes but it is not shown anywhere, and it is meaningless to anyone but admin. (it may show up when they email you). When a provider asks you for your TER id, she is asking for your username (dodgerj23), not a number. Frankly, your username is also useless to a provider unless you have reviews, whitelists, or a strong board posting presense, under that name.

Also, unless you have VIP, then a TER handle is not good verification anyway. Anyone can say, "I am perfectstorm," or "I am swimtrekr" or hiddenhills,  or mrfisher, etc.. But only the correct person can PM a lady from his username account.

Thanks. That was helpful. Making sense now.

you have posted a review.  When a provider that I have on my favorite list gets a review, I get an email and my ID number is on it.  Other than that, I don't know how you will see it.  Thing is, you don't really need it, neither does the provider.  Al she needs is your handle anyway.

Is this what happened to you?  If not, Why do you want your TER number?
