Yes, it is sufficient reason to knock off a point or two. It wouldn't be an issue with me, but if I walked in and your nose had a ring in it and your tits were pierced, I would be deducting.

I just notice that I received a low appearance rating on my review..so I inquired about it to the reviewer and he said it was because I had too many tattoos and he wasnt into body art..Im not upset or anything..I just wanted to know if that is a good reason to give a provider a low score? shouldnt he ask the provider if she had any body art done before seeing her? to each his own I guess..I find that most of the ladies with implants and injections are getting rated highly..so I guess I should think about investing in some silicone huh? lol

doesn't show that you have any tattoos so if a man goes in expecting not to see them (and not wanting to see them) and you have a bunch or even one or two that are large, some will reduce your appearance ratings. Your best bet is to be up front on your website that you have tattoos. It is really YOUR job to advertise yourself appropriately. It's not his duty to ask as your photos should be accurate and up-to-date.

my photos are indeed accurate and up to date..I guess the lighting or the way Im posing doesnt show them..but I do understand your reasoning live and learn I guess

You have three 7's and two 8's.  Even your two 6's for performance seemed to have positive text.  BTW, if you contacted me about a review to discuss my rating of your appearance, I'd be really pissed off.  I might feel differently if I'd confused a fact, but the contact implies some coercion to change what you don't approve of.

oh no its nothing like that..I was reading the other posts on the general board about ratings inflation and got curious about my own ratings. I have a good relationship with those Im just meeting and with my regulars so I just asked one of them. He was upfront and honest with me. The question was just asked out of curiosity and nothing more

I am sure there are plenty of ways a woman can entice a man into revealing his thoughts that would in no way make him feel "put on the spot" or ticked at being questioned.  

Anyway, why not take a few close-ups of your tattoos and post them on your page, Blaque?  

As for me, I would NEVER downgrade a woman's appearance based on having or not having tattoos.  It's her body, she can do with it what she wants!

Of course she can do what she wants with her body, but my rating of her appearance has to be based upon seeing what I like.  Otherwise we should just ask the ladies to pick a number and make it part of her profile.  It's already confusing enough because guys have different taste, but if we can't rate based on what we see then the numbers are totally worthless.

Ah, but I would not downgrade a woman's appearance based on a tattoo because I view that as her personal choice.  Then again, I think tattoos have special meaning for their owners.  And yes, those are my personal perspectives....not that I feel that my opinions should be held universally...

For instance, many men like fake breasts, does not mean I think all men should be required to enjoy fake breasts, small breasts, large breasts, etc...

Personal opinion...and yes, fake anything would drive my rating of a beautiful woman's appearance down...to include make-up (hence, I do not believe I will ever give a woman a 10 for appearance, they all seem to want make-up, even if I ask them not to put any on!)

your tats are not visible.  I would be disappointed if the tats were many and of the larger variety; to each his own.

What I did notice is that you have more pics of your eyes than the rest of your body.  For my taste, maybe too much black and white and not enough color pics.  The pic of you eating (or is it swallowing) the bananna is cool.  Just my opinion.

I'm still a newbie to the provider world..I designed my own site..I thought the black and white imagery would be striking but I could be wrong..its suppose to invoke a type of mystery and due to my professional civie life I cant really show EVERYTHING like other providers do..but I will edit my page

turning your face away from the camera, or even blurring your face.  Discretion is important.

Better to not have a man book you because of the tats than to have one book you based upon facial look and find that you have one big or many tats. I am one hobbyists that will not book a provider if I see a tat on her, but there are hobbyists that love body art. You want to get a man in the room that is hyped about seeing you, knowing good detail about what you and your body look like, those sessions go better for all involved.

All I can really tell is that you are an averaged sized black woman, I couldn't even guess within twenty years how old you based on the pics you choose to include on your site.

I still don't know which low score you are referring to, you have two 7s and two 8s, even a seven is "attractive", I don't see any disparity in the scores you have received so far.

I will say that you have used this board quite well in garnering attention for yourself, and you are getting dangerously close to turning these threads into ad posts. I will let this thread stand as it has attracted a lot of responses, but be very careful in the future.

She may not wish to show the tats as they might be identifying. I agree that she needs to be clear about the presence of tats via her profile, her site and maybe even by stating so in a phone call. Some guys change ratings just because of the tats, which I find not useful to the process. IMO, I find it better to rate the appearance and clearly mention any presence of tattoos.

I think guys deducting points off based on something they don't like (or adding point because they do) is BS. It's why the ratings are useless, and the photos and review text are most important. Not to mention that many guys are incapable of filling out the profile accurately, which is done the first time and is later changed only through trouble reports to admin.

That said, I think the B&W photos are fine, but they do not show tats on an AA woman very well. As stated, a 7/8 appearance is pretty good, IMO, but may or may not reflect the ratings inflation, which is often due to "other reasons" not related to a guys subjective rating. I think some additional photos would be helpful, though not necessarily RE: the tattoos.

As for implants. I am a boob guy, but I'd rather have some nice natural B cups than an awful D or even a bad C. If you go there, pick a quality surgeon. Regardless, nobody should be changing your appearance score due to breast size, but it happens.

As Gambler mentioned, some of your posts have a tone that is a bit off (to me). I cede that it's a difficult tonal balance to strike in the posts, and maybe even harder to put yourself out there (in ads) and then have to wait for responses. I mention this as one response here mentions that queries about a "low score" (no matter how well intentioned) will probably not be received well, and I agree.

I do apologize if it seemed as though Im using the board to garner attention to myself because that honestly wasnt my intentions..it was just an inquiry I had and being a newbie, I figured I ask for other's opinions on the matter..but if it does seem like Im causing a problem by being too inquisitive, then I will cease from posting if it will warrant a consequence:o(

Just a piece of advice, though: Read all the information that TER provides. The self-help manual on the top of the page (near the life-preserver) is the first thing you need to read, especially when it comes to what a provider can and cannot say and do on the forums. It will answer many of the questions you've been presenting here and elsewhere.
