Let me explain the context of the question first.  I am having a vasectomy in a couple of days.  The doctor said I had to shave The Boys before the surgery.

Actually, it feels kind of neat.  It feels different from hairy, so I am reminded of sex every time I walk.  It looks kind of liked a plucked chicken, though.

I had a couple of experienced hobbyists advise other hobbyists to shave The Package before they see a provider.  A couple of providers have also said it makes giving deep throat much easier for them.

So here's the question: Should a guy shave The Package?

It would seem that the majority of providers prefer trimmed or shaven balls. I shave mine weekly. I also keep the surrounding area trimmed and neat.
I have also found that providers will spend more time and attention down there when they don't have to deal with a forest.  

If you like the idea and it feels good then go for it.  I will say, as I have before, that in over 20 years of hobbying I have never once, not ONCE, had the subject of a man's pubic hair come up in conversation.  I know it gets talked about incessantly here on TER but frankly I still see it as a non issue.  

Show up on time, be clean, have the donation counted, ready and in plain sight and be respectful of the lady and her time.  If you do all of these things you will be fine. If you don't, a shaved package will not help you.

If you like attention to the boys...  you will likely get more and better attention in that area if it is groomed.

When you say Groomed, what shape or looks would be preferred? I have never groomed there, and if I try to, I dont want to let it look even worse, right?

WAAAAAAY back when, I shaved them because my GF (later wife) said she would not suck hair.  OK.  Have kept them since.  I feel less "funky", and frankly ladies, hair growing back out above your parts NEVER itches as much as when the boys try to grow it back out.  So for 20+ I have kept it.  Go for it!

IMO a gent should keep his package at least as close as he prefers the ladies to keep the kitty.

YES! YES! YES! I get a lil annoyed when im trying to perform my talent and im getting a mouthfull of hair...pretty gross and it interupts the enjoyment for us both...so please yes, yes, yes, shave!lol

My manhood and around it are always shaved and yes I get compliments on it when the ladies see it and taste it.

I keep mine shaved/trimmed because I think EVERYTHING feels better to me that way. I think the ladies like it too! Sometimes I even shave the BIG head too!

Yes, I prefer the guys to have a clean shaven, smooth surface to play with. You will definately get more quality time spent on your frank and beans when they are cleanly shaven, or at the very least, trimmed up neatly.
But for gods sake, above all else, be CLEAN and freshly showered, even if you aren't shaven!
