I am a newbie and started searching the site for providers in my area. Well, I finally found a provider, went to her site, filled out a screening form, sent a picture(required), and tried to set an appointment. I have heard nothing back since. Now Im all sketched out because I have no Idea where all my info went. I would feel a little better if I would have just got a reply saying No thanks, but to hear nothing is strange. Would this bother anyone else? BTW she is well reviewed in my area by TER.

which is not something I've come across before.  But if she is well reviewed your concerns should be lessened.  

When you say well reviewed, what exactly do you mean? Sometimes, what a Newbie considers well reviewed isn't really.  Does she have multiple reviews by reviewers with a lot of reviews to their credit?

I would send her an email asking her if she received your information and would like to set up an appointment.  If you have VIP, try sending a PM.

She has more than one page of reviews. Some very recent. Also I've sent an email and tried to confirm, but heard nothing. I dont really want to call her direct. Ive gave all my info. Let me add again that I am a newbie with zero reviews from reviewed providers. Am I just paranoid?

Requesting a pic is unusual, but not unheard of.

As for not getting a response, you will almost never get a "no", if she decides for any reason not to see you things typically just go silent.  If I'm reading you right, a second e-mail reinforcing your interest wouldn't be out of line.  If she doesn't respond to that, you pretty much have to suck it up and move on, never knowing why.

I recently had a session with a lady whose agency required a pic.  I was slightly apprehensive but the lady was well reviewed.  In my case, the lady's ads had unblurred pics, so it seemed fair that they should know what I look like if they wish.

My session went off smoothly; I hope the same for you!  How long has it been?  If it has only been a few days, I know that feels like a long time.  Sometimes it takes a week or more for the lady to finish screening you.  

For that matter, last year when I was a total newbie I contacted one of the most respected ladies in my area.  I never heard back and gave up on her.  In the meantime, I popped my cherry with an agency that is very accommodating to newbies.  Then she e-mailed me seven months later!  I could have been indignant, but I am glad that I wasn't, because meeting her was an amazing experience.  As I learned, she is low-volume and popular.

So, don't give up on her, but at the same time you should consider a Plan B.

Depends on when you want to see her.  If you want to see her 2 days from now, you might have to move on.  If the date is a week or more away, then you have some time.

Keep in mind, providers have real lives too.  Kids get sick, cars have to be in the shop, other times sh*t happens.  If you don't hear back after a 2nd attempt, go to plan B.

I think it is very indiscreet to ask a gent for a pic. Period. I can't think of any reason good enough to require one. Safety? Well, if that's the case, anyone can get a pic off the internet and send it and say that's them. I have a feeling, it is a very young provider that doesn't want to see gents that she will find unappealing.

small children tend to weep at my very presence.  If I was to send a pic, I could very well be guilty of indecent visual assault and battery by means of an electronic device.  So, if pics were required, I would be relegated to posting in the ISO board for blind providers.

last time someone asked for my pic, I sent her rayjjr's just to make me look better.  LMAO

pic again in the future.  There are extremely sexy and beautiful, well reviewed providers (like the purrrfectly fine meow lady who has responded) who will see you without one.  If the lady you are talking about is well reviewed, don't sweat it, but think long and hard about sending a pic again for the simple reason that it pretty much destroys any alternative explanation for your information being in her database, like: "I have no idea, someone must be using my information."  That most likely won't work, but it will always be my story, and I will stick to it.

A very high end provider requested that I send a pic before she would agree to meet me.  I did and she set up the meeting the next day.  It went great...but I only sent a pic because she was so hot otherwise I would have never done it.  Someone here mentioned that its probably a young provider...in my case it was a young provider....so maybe that's more of a practice of the younger poviders...because I've gotten a few requests for that and it was always the really young ones (early 20's).  Since you are a newbie, maybe she wasn't sure about you so was a little scared away...I'd just move on if she doesn't answer your second reply.

An independent provider once requested a pic from me, back when I was a newbie and had no indie references (had only used agency providers).  She said it was a form of screening so that she would know if it was the same guy showing up at her incall door as in the picture.  I sent the picture and had a great time.  

Since then, based on conversations I have had with providers, a picture request could also be a way to check for ethnic background, which does play a role for some providers to decide whom they wish to see.  This is the real world.
