Hi again!  As I'm a fairly new provider, I'm trying to build up my business.  I'm extremely hesitant to go to Craigslist for all the obvious reasons.  So I thought I'd go straight to the source and ask you guys which places you look to find providers?  Is it just online or do you look in printed material as well?

Thanks ahead of time!  It's great to have someplace to go with these questions.

I have looked on CL and have found several very good providers. The key is to cross reference them on TER. I also use Eros and of course TER.

its not too hard to be successful here

1. make a site
2. advertise on your local TER board
3. get reviews
4. profit!

you can also place ads in escort malls like cityvibe, eros, etc

There is a provider on these TER pages who has accumulated over 430 reviews since April 2005. The fact that her region is LA is helpful; but certainly offers no guarantee when you compare with the many other providers in that region.
The provider of which I speak has NEVER advertised on ANY of the big name escort malls. Her personal website is an extremely simple and economic one page effort with only TWO small photos of her. On occasion when the TER hobbyist demographic is slow I know this provider to utilize Craigslist for as long as it takes to get a few appointments scheduled, then she promptly removes her ad. When using CL she screens the same as she would with TER clientele. Naturally she gets quite a few complainers to her screening process over at CL; but she never lets that faze her as she separates the wheat from the chaff and continues her unprecedented success.

All of the above advice is very good.  Craigslist can be a very effective marketing tool despite it's unsavory reputation.  The well-reviewed providers that use CL have some things in common.

They usually post once early in the day rather than multiple times like the lower-end ladies.

Their posts are tasteful, brief and to the point usually referencing a website for rates, contact info and the screening process.

They do not post fully nude, legs spread open pics leaving nothing to the imagination.  One pic showing body type and appearance.  Face pics are optional depending upon your level of comfort.

They all use a screening service and stick to it whether it's a service like Room Service or provider references.

Most of the creeps trolling CL do not want to be bothered accessing a website and going through the screening process.  Good luck!

I can vouch for Escort Blogs.  I've only been blogging on there for a month and already have met some amazing men.  Plus, it's lots of fun to read about providers and meet hobbyists from all over the country(and Canada ; )  
One man is traveling across three states just to see me because he saw my blogs there.  All of my "business" comes from TER (or MFP in MN) & now Escort Blogs.

This site gives men the opportunity to read the inner thoughts of a provider before he meets her. This affords men the opportunity to see past a website and have a better understanding of the providers priorities.

Guys can browse providers in tehir area as well as across the country because there is a page that lists who is blogging by their location.

everyone had great ideas for advertising on the web and I want to thankyou.I never thought of a blog and it seems like it would be a great way to meet people. This is the only forum I participate in and i'm feeling more comfortable with each post thanks to all the nice people here.
   I wanted to make one point on craigslist as I do post on there at least 2 or 3 times a week now. Lots of waste your time rude people do call from my ads but the ones that I do connect with are worth their weight in gold. Real nice guys do shop for company on CL and I have met many. They treat me very nice and see me often. I am a rare find on there since i'm in the over 45 class
which means little or no competion.
    If your a good provider you to are worth your weight in gold. For all the scam artists that lurk on there your good service will win you a real regular who will appreciate you.Don't be afraid of craigslist but just be careful. It's free,viwed by millions,can advertise as often as you like and when you want to escape takes one second to delete your ad.
