So... I recently decided to become a provider in Chicago. I did a lot of research (including reading quite a bit on this site) and eventually decided that at least while I'm still a newbie and gaining experience I'd like to do so with an agency. It seemed like the easiest and safest way to get started. I sent a couple emails and called around and had a couple interviews. I chose the one that I felt the most comfortable with. I met the lady at a diner for coffee and REALLY liked her and felt completely comfortable with signing on. We talked about rates and screening and what I could expect and everything seemed perfect. I asked for a week before I started (to get my hair done, wax, get my nails done, get some new lingerie... generally get ready) and she was totally cool with it. I called her about a week ago for my first available night, did my hair, makeup, and hooked on my garters.

The problem is that I never got a call for a client. I figured maybe it was just a slow night and tried not to sweat it. However, the same thing happened again. And then again tonight. Except by this point I didn't bother getting completely dressed up.

I'm getting really frustrated. I know it hasn't been that long, and I haven't been reviewed because I haven't seen anybody, and I don't want to put pictures up on the site until I've seen a few clients and can say with absolute certainty that this is something I'm committed to. I thought I was being smart about this but now I'm not sure. I don't want to keep my schedule completely free every night just to sit around waiting. Is this just the same paradox about experience as in other jobs- where you need experience to get a good gig but are then rendered incapable of getting experience? Has it just been a slow week? Is it the economy? What should I do??

Sorry to hear you're having such a tough time getting started. I can only imagine how frustrating that must be.

I'll be honest. Without pictures, it's going to be hard (although not impossible) to get gentlemen interested in seeing you. We have so many options available to us...high-quality providers with great pictures and great reviews. There's very little incentive to take a chance on provider with no pictures and no reviews.

I can understand why you don't want pictures, but I would suggest that you at least get pictures with your face and any identifiable tatooes, etc. blurred.  Or, you may want to make photos available on a per request basis to clients who've used the service before.

First, let me commend you on choosing to go with an agency to start working.  You will be much safer and can learn a lot from the reps and other girls working there.  Trying to work as an independent provider without prior experience could get you into a great deal of trouble.

Second, times are definitely tough and calls aren't coming in a frequently as they used to so don't worry about not working every night.

Perhaps you could ask your agent to book you on a double or two girl call for your first time or two, then you could follow along...but only with what you are comfortable with of course.  This type of call will usually consist of bachelor parties or poker parties, sometimes the client has a friend with him.

Don't get frustrated.  I know it's a pain to get all dressed up in full hair and make up just to sit there.  Instead of waiting at home you could go out with your friends (don't drink) or go chill at the bookstore.  That way you still feel like you're out doing something instead of wasting time.  If you get a call, just excuse yourself from your current company and go to your job location.

Experience will come from going on calls and what you learn from other girls...remember, don't trust ANYONE.  Never give other girls your personal phone number or address.  People know you have money on you, be sure to protect yourself.
