if you tour, you can post an ad announcing your tour dates in the city you'll be visiting. Yes, this is all covered in the Self help center back on the main page of the newb board. It's in the upper right corner. You need to make sure you comply with all the TER rules. However, you can contribute your opinion on any thread on any board. You cannot advertise on any national boards. As a new provider without reviews, I suggest you become active on the Toronto board, don't over do it, just contribute your $.02 to threads. That way local hobbyist should get comfortable with you and will take a chance on seeing an unreviewed provider. We call that TOFTT (taking one for the team) good luck

Hello, my name is Beatrice Weston! I'm a new provider based in Toronto Ontario. I have no reviews and I'm wondering if I can post a little blurb about myself, a photo, and my website in the regional boards? (I know I *can* but I'm wondering if I am supposed to wait until I am reviewed on TER before doing that?)
If I post on various boards here, can I include my website at the end of my post...? (I notice there is a spot under this for a URL and a photo!)
Please advise!
I'm sure this answer is somewhere in the FAQ but I haven't found it.

I'd wager it might actually be a good thing to do, just let them know you're a new provider and draw attention to yourself. You never know, someone might become aware of you and TOFTT and give you your first review.

When you post a reply on the newbie board you can add the link to your website it is not frowned upon.A great way to get yourself out there and guys to get familiar with you. Good luck to you!

I notice some women posting in the "newbie" area add a link to their website w/ their replies... can I do that too? Or is this frowned upon?
