either way will allow you to get to "my alias" which once upon a time was "my aliases", but BPS gave the much easier answer if you actually want to make a post under your alias

So the best answer is to go to My TER and look under My Quick Links on the left. You'll find My Alias under that. Click on it and you can pick one. JakeFromStateFarm is taken.
BPS gave the best answer as you can do exactly the same thing by clicking "my alias" on a "post reply"
Jake did give a mostly correct answer, but there are several ways to get to "my alias" either by clicking on Account Manager, or two different ways to go through "My TER" either under "My Quick Links" like Jake suggests or by clicking on the second to the last drop down menu on the right simply labeled "more"
Any one of these four ways will accomplish what the Governor wants to accomplish, I still maintain BPS gave the best response.
You need to be sure you've had your current alias for at least three months, then contact TER and tell them you want to change your alias. They will kill your current alias and let you know you can now choose a new one. Then do what I described above. You're welcome. Jake
anyone of the four methods mentioned will accomplish what the Governor wants to accomplish.
If he already has an alias, all he has to do is exactly what BPS suggested, if he doesn't have an alias, clicking on the "my alias" will bring up the option to "add alias" and of course if he already has an alias, but wants to change it, Jake is absolutely correct, but he is also correct when he says that is not what the Governor was asking.
BPS still gave the best advice, sorry Jake from State Farm. I'll buy you a drink to console you. lol
They still fill a need for many posters, and aliases have been highly abused over the years, but once upon a time aliases were a fun way to riff off of someone's post. I still remember the GaGambler family only two of which were actually me. Some asshole even posted as GaGamblersretardedbrother" I wonder what ever happened to that asshole? lol
Since the only reason to use an alias today is to hide your identity, either for discretion or just to be a chickenshit, I no longer even have an alias and I have no intentions of creating one.
