YES, stood up

Yes, you were stood up.  Unfortunate but crap happens.  If you don't hear from her cross her of the list.  At least you were only out gas money & not the donation.
Did you check her reviews before the date?  Well reviewed ladies don't NCNS, at least not often.

I was stood up last night after confirming our date just a few hours prior. Because it was over an hour drive to this provider I wanted to make sure our date was still on. She assured me we were on and she would be available. Well, needless to say, when I got there I called for the address and got her voicemail, left a message and waited. I left several more messages but after an hour had passed I knew there would be no date.
Now I know if we have a bad date we can leave a negative review, and if we're ripped off we can post a Rip Off, but what can I do to warn others so they don't waste their time with this provider?

Hi - unfortunately you can't post her as  a rip off because she did not take your money and then not perform as promised. Actually I had the very same thing happen to me some time ago with two different ladies - both craigslist specials. Sometimes they get a call from someone they know or someone that sounds more interesting, sometimes they just get a queasy feeling about you for some reason. There are many possible reasons, a few honestly innocent. Reliability is important to me because I must schedule my trysts in advance, so I only see ladies with a good TER track record and who have a "yes" in the "on time" field.

This is a controversy that comes up every so often.

TER only allows reviews of dates where you actually have some physical contact with the provider.

What you have experienced is the classic no call/no show scenario.

I had about three such scenarios within a two month period once.  I thought the sisterhood was out to get me, but I hung in there and haven't had a repeat since.  (Actually there was one, but I did hear from her a few days later.  She got in a traffic accident on the way over to see me and was in the hospital for a few days.  Her cell phone got trashed and she had no computer to use until she got released.  I'd say that was a good excuse.)

The best you can do to vent about this is to post the information, if you want, on your local board.  Don't insert any invective though, just a factual account of how it went down.

Then get up on that horse and ride again.

providers and hobbyists. Just move on.

I would contact her and ask what happened.  BUT if she doesn't answer or return your calls - ect. move on, because if you " Harass " her you can get black listed and will have problems seeing anyone.

Thanks everyone for the comments! Actually I'm fine with what happened...I consider it one of the risks of the hobby. I was just hoping there would be some consequence for her so that other hobbyists would be aware of her history and avoid her, or at least be cautious. I never see anyone who isn't reviewed and although she only had two reviews I got a good feeling about her on the phone. I am always very pleasant to the providers and easy to talk to on the phone, and there were never any akward moments in our conversations, so I don't think she she was put off by me.
I think there were some issues with her, possibly drugs, as she called me the next day, saying she was returning my call... having no idea I was the guy she stood up the night before. When I said " Hey, what happened last night" she immediately hung up. kind of funny!

Providers have real lives too.  If you do not get a satisfactory response, move on.  If you must, you could out her on your local board (not recommended unless she gave you a real smartass response).

And we are hearing only one side of the story here. It sometimes does not take much to put someone off and to assume she was on drugs is the same as a provider giving missinformation about a guy so he can't get an appointment. This outing can go both ways and quite frankly I'm getting sick and tired of hearing even vieled threats at outing a provider. How would you like it if we had a open public forum and posted every client who stood us up or was rough or who had bad hygiene etc. on there with certain details. And yes we have a provider only board but it's private not public with one damn side of the story.

IMO, you should post about hobbyists who have bad hygiene, get rough with you after you have said "enough is enough", etc.  Isn't that what the provider board is for?

Every lady should be treated like a lady.
