Ok, I am relatively new to the hobbie. For some reason I have the impression that an experience with a Escort versus one with an Indie Girl are very different. If I stated that incorrectly, there was no intention of disrespect there. I searched the newbie board and didn't find an answer to this. Anyone care to define this for me?

I think that an escort is synonymous with provider.  An independent escort/provider obviously is on her own while an agency escort/provider is represented by an agency.

In my opinion an independent escort/provider is preferable because she sets her own schedule, she keeps all of her donation, etc.  And if your escort/provider is happy, you will be too.

It would seem to me that the quality of the experience would be based on the lady and not necessarily for whom she worked.

A good GFE will be a good GFE regardless of the fact if she works for herself or for an agency, smae for PSE or FBSM, domina, etc.  

Once behind closed doors, the experience is going to be good or bad because of you and the lady you are behind that door with, and not who runs the website, who does the booking, who gets how much of the donation, etc.

There are pluses and minuses to both agency ladies and indie ladies, and when it comes down to it is the time with the lady that will make the experience what it is.  If you find a great indie or a great lady that works with an agency it doesn't matter which she is. If the chemistry is there, all the things click and you walk out with a smile on your face that returns whenever you think of the time spent in the lady's company, that is what matters.

My preference for escorting is being represented by a great agency.This way I can spend all of my time doing and being what I am good at and let someone else see to the details. This way I can further my education or actually have a family life with quality time with SO and kids. I worry about nothing, the agency does. being independant means  paying for your own seperate incall as its not safe to work from home.When you add in cell phones and ads....... Geez gimme a good agency gal any day !! They are so much more relaxed, usualy more sane too as they do have lives and have not fallen off the cliff of "The Life"..

By the way, WT stated that it was all about the lady and not whether or not she worked for an agency or for herself.

I didnt imply that you werent hon. Please dont read personal implications into my general statements.
I know that a certain percentage of women that work as Independants ROCK but, In all my years the happiest ones worked with agency's. IMHO.
Keep doing what works best for you and if its independency then great ! If not there is still no reason to constantly (you and others) to degrade agency's and hold independency as better than agencys because both are circumstansial and depend on the individuals.

...with WT's comment that independent vs. agency really depends upon the lady involved, I had always assumed that it HAS to be better to work for yourself because that's what I have always done in every field.  But after reading WT's post I understood that I was making an assumption based upon MY needs/preferences.

Not if it's a reputable agency.  There is no quicker way for a gal to get the boot out the agency door than to risk their reputation and repeat business with shady business tricks.

The important thing is when choosing a lady, either independent or agency, is to do your research.

How do you find a reputable agency, you are asking.  If her profile says she works for an agency, do a search on the phone number.  If there are multiple ladies with positive reviews, you've found one.

But always remember, every lady is her own person.  Even with a reputable agency, you can't count on the same services being on offer by every lady.
