Took me three tries to decipher your post, Brooke. Now it is clear to me.

No, you can't talk about "whatever" here. This is the newbie board, where newbies ask newbie-like questions (yours fits).

The General board is where you ask "whatever" as long as it is sexual or "hobby" related.

Local Ad boards are where you post your ads, limited to one per week.

Regional boards are where you discuss things that are regional-local in nature.

Also, all newbies should browse the Self Help Center, link located up by the life preserver.

Excuse I am notice here, but can we talk about whatever on this board, then there are others for advertising? I'd like to get to know some of the gents and ladies here :)

You can advertise on your local ad board or in the city you plan on touring to, if you tour. The General Discussion Board (aka GD board) is the place to get to know the guys and gals and discuss more generic things about the hobby. Welcome to you Brooke and best to you! Blue

Feel free to ask any newbie questions here, but do read the self help center first, and peruse some of the back pages on this forum as you will probably find all your questions have already been asked and answered:) People are nice on this board though, and they dont mind answering the same things over and over. If you want to play on the general board, make sure you have a thick skin, as it can get rough over there. The regional boards are where you can get to know the folks in your area and the hobbyists who are most likely to become your customers. While reading the self help center pay close attention the provider ad posting guidelines. They are pretty specific. YOu are allowed to post fee ads the regional ad boards but you do have to follow the rules.
