I have heard a lot of guys express opinions for both. Some like to meet the provider in a hotel as it allows for a little more amenity than going to the providers residence. Others worry it's easier for LE to set you up. As a provider, I have worked from hotels as well as my home. I thought this would be a good topic for people to discuss.
As a provider, I personally like working from my home rather than hotels for a few reasons. First of all I don't have to pack or go anywhere to set up. When I was working out of the hotels in my area, I had to worry about the hotel front desk, the other patrons, even security noticing the traffic and reporting it. I learned that hotels don't like providers seeing clients because it brings down business (that's debatable, but whatever). That alone was hassle enough. Then there is the 4-6 hour wait if you are in the process of switching hotels that you can't see clients. Usually between 11:00am and 3:00pm. The good things with hotels, is no matter how "large" a client may be, he's not going to break down my furniture. I have already had to replace my bed and it looks like this one won't last the year. That and maid service...I am always washing towels!
I really like working out of my home for so many reasons. Granted, the situation is anything but perfect right now. My step daughter is living with me right now, so I am cramped trying to live and work in one room. In a few months when she gets her own place, I will have the entire place to myself which will allow me to have one room to work in and one to live in.
There are a lot of little extras I get to include from my home that would have been too time consuming to set up each time. For instance. I am able to give my clients the choice to either listen to some relaxing music, or I put porn on for them. I have a digital photo frame that can play all the photos of me and my website while you are relaxing. I can offer clean towels and shower supplies all the time without having to beg the front desk for more. I can set up my straps and get into some LIGHT bdsm in the comfort of my home.
So what are your thoughts? Hotel or residence? Why or why not?

I realize the benefits for you of your residence over a hotel, but for me? All downside. Way too much LE risk, for my taste. Now, when I say "hotel" I am referring to an upscale, large, busy lobby without the need for a key card to access the elevator. Remember, not knowing you, I dont know your living arrangements, who is living with you, any jealous ex's hanging around, stalkers from the biz, your place on surveillance form LE, etc. A lot of people will know your address that I'd rather not deal with. A hotel is a much safer place to play, imo.

and I hear ya sister about washing towels and bed sheets!  8o)

But like someone above said, your safety should be the prime issue in making a determination to see guys at your home.  The gals I see at my house I have known for some time, so I'm not that concerned.

I see gals at their homes from time to time, and haven't had a problem with that.

Being very discreet and not giving the neighbors any cause to complain are the main things to be aware of, other than safety.

Also, no client is going to want to go to your home if there are other people in the home, especially children.

Every former client now knows where you live...  S T A L K E R, uninvited guests at inappropriate times, Nosey neighbors making complaints to LE,

This is not to say it can't be done but best be low volume & have a cover story for traffic.   You should be able to buy furnature which is adequately rugged.

More providers seem to have static locations that are rented and they actually LIVE somewhere else.  The rentals are changed at the end of the lease.

have been to both with no problems.  Some ladies have a separate apartment for incall and do not live there.  I prefer my providers to be at ease in their surroundings, and if home fills the bill for her, I have no problem with it.

Come ladies, Beth wanted your input, not from us guys.

Not only are you potentially placing yourself in harms way ("the dreaded stalking client" who knows where you live), but you have now exposed your daughter to unnecessary risk and potential harm.

In your case, with your daughter living with you for the time being, I do not see how the benefits of providing out of your home even remotely outweigh the risk you are potentailly placing your daughter in. No matter how well you think you screen clients, there is always a bad client who slips through the proverbial cracks.

Its okay if you want to take the risk. But your daughter is not given a choice. If I were you, I would provide in a different locale until your daughter has moved out for good.

Yeah, I can see your point. As far as LE goes, I've had a cursory visit by them, but they weren't out to "bust" me or my clients, just make sure that I wasn't (a) being forced, (b) forcing anyone, (c) Working with minors or (d) trafficking Narcotics. They are only going to come out and bother me if I cause drama and they get a call. Believe it or not (and this is from the detective and my lawyer) the reason they didn't do anything but give me a ticket was because I was in my own home. The detective told me flat out that had I been in a hotel, they would have arrested me because the hotels don't like us working out of them.
I get the thing about a crazy ex as well. I guess if nothing about one showing up in any reviews, that should be a good indicator that isn't an issue. I do however have my step daughter (30) living with me at the moment. I get that might put some guys off as well, but if you think about it, having the extra set of eyes and ears paying attention to whats going on around the area while the client and I can rest assured we are going to be able to enjoy our time with one another, not worrying if there are sirens in the back ground (I live less than a mile away from the FD).
One other thing I am going to mention is my neighborhood. Granted it may not be the ritz, it may not even be an area of town you would normally visit. However, it's a perfect neighborhood for this because NO ONE is going to call the police over the traffic that comes and goes. I don't see clients I don't know after a certain time and I keep out calls for the time I don't see clients at home. In reality, I feel safer serving out of here because I know if I were to get into a bad situation and started to scream, there would be about 10 of my neighbors here making sure everything was kosher. I wasn't as lucky in a "Nicer" neighborhood when a guy called and ended up holding me and my daughter up at gun point with two of his friends. I screamed bloody murder before they entered and the neighbors heard and did NOTHING!!! So much for nicer always being better.

My STEP DAUGHTER is 30 and a grown woman. I would NEVER in a MILLION YEARS SUBJECT A CHILD to my work. In fact, when I made the decision to start as an escort, I had to send my son who was 18 to live with my mom and dad so that he wouldn't be around this. Just to Clarify.

SHE'S MY STEP DAUGHTER AND A GROWN WOMAN OF 30! Why does everyone on here automatically assume the worst possible scenario about people they don't even know. I guess I have to be more explicit when I write something so as not to get jumped on. Sorry, I am just really tired of ppl automatically jumping on a negative bandwagon on every little thing they might be able to. I understand concern for a childs welfare, but why would ppl automatically assume I would subject a child to that without knowing anything about me. It just urks me a bit is all. Nothing against you personally.

especially private single family homes, but I've seen providers at their homes  numerous  times. Also I've known providers who've had to move from their private residence due to stalking clients, so you need to screen very carefully. Ideally, I like those large upscale business hotels where the lobby always has a fair amount of activity.

The venue is way less important than me feeling safe and knowing that it is discreet.  To stereotype between all hotels and all residences is ludicrous.

If your home is in a shtty place or it's a mess, I might prefer the hotel.  Or if your home is going to be a very obvious spot for anyone to see stopping over in a suit and tie during work hours...well, I'd rather not do that compared to going to a hotel where there might be a bar, and I might just blend in.

Like I said, it's way too general of a question to answer.

It actually wasn't my neighbors that called. In fact the person that did call was a hartless bitch that has since admitted and apologized (a little too late) but as for my neighbors, as long as their is no drama, they could care less.

I hear you and no, a man showing in a suit and tie after work is never an issue. The location might not be the greatest, but my home is clean (a little cramped) and cozy. It's a matter of personal choice, obviously. I was just saying why I enjoy out of my home rather than a hotel.

I never said untouchable, just that I know the cops realize I'm not worth the time or money they waste to bother with me when I am not hurting ANYONE! Knowing what WILL attract their attention has kept me off their radar. And I never said I was untouchable!

I always advise providers to never work out of the same house they live in, because you are asking for trouble. It takes ONE psycho to out your address on the net, or worse...stalk you. If you insist on doing this, at least "pretend" it's not your house, and that you live elsewhere. Also, at 100 bucks, you can't possibly be seeing Doctors and CEOs as your majority. I run an agency with 'massage' rates at 200, and no way would I see half the guys they have to see. You are letting the bottom of the barrel into your own house where your child lives...sorry, but that's crazy.

Thank you. This just seems like common sense to me, but you would be surprised at the number of providers who do this very thing. If you're not making enough money as a provider to get a hotel or share incall expenses with another provider, you need to up your rates or get another job on the side. Under no circumstances, should a CHILD be in the same dwelling where this is going on...EVER!

OMG !!! Does ANYONE EVER READ EVERYTHING THAT A PERSON WRITES??? Yes I do agree about being safe, but MY DAUGHTER IS MY STEP DAUGHTER OF 30! SHE IS NOT A MINOR OR A CHILD!!! GET OVER IT PPL! I WOULD NEVER SUBJECT A CHILD TO WHAT I DO! And By the by, I have been trying to change my rates but havent been able to. And one other thing...How do you know the clientele I get. I can assure you just because you ASSUME something about a person doesnt mean its true!

Most the time, guys envision a lady in the 20-40 y/o range, which would tend to make the daughter a lot younger than yours.  Additionally, many of us HAVE met ladies who work out of their home, and there have sometimes been young kids there.  I know when I first read your OP, that was the mental immage I had.

But beyond that, I would be worried about working out of your home.  No matter how well you screen, an ocasional nut case will slip through--and if they know where you live, things can get bad.  The lady can do everything right, but still wind up with a dangerous stalker.  Bad enough if a stalker is chasing you on the internet, but it's far worse if he is lurking outside your front door.

I have been to a numer of ladies' real homes, but only after we have known each other well.  I have a key to one lady's place and occasionally dog sit when she is away.  But on a first, second, or thidr date?  As flattering as it might be to my male ego, I would try to talk any lady out of it for a first meeting if I knew that's where she was working.

Whatever you do, please be careful.

That's kind of the best of both worlds. That way, you can have a designated spot with all of your tows, goodies and wardrobe and you don't have to worry about packing all the time. And with short term leases, if you so happen to find yourself next to nosy neighbors, you can always find a new spot in 6 months or less. Just make sure it's a mid/high rise type of place, where lots of people are in and out all day, not really paying attention to their neighbors.

It's really not a good idea to use your home as your incall. You could end up with a stalker client, and you won't be able to move as easily. And I know your step daughter is an adult, but I'm going to go out on a limb and assume she doesn't know that this is what you do for a living. It's going to be much harder to keep her in the dark about this if you start sessioning out of your home.

Finally, if your clients are doctors, lawyers, ect. you should definitely raise your rates. They will be able to pay it, and you deserve it.

How do I know the shit you are attracting? Because I've got 10 years in the business dealing with guys from 150-2k...that's how I know! Add to that, you are in Orange County where the cost of living is 4 times higher than that of New Orleans, and women won't even fk for that cheap here unless they are seriously butt ugly or on drugs!!!

If you want advice, don't get pissed off when we call out the obvious. Guys paying 100 bucks for sex are not the cream of the crop, and you are allowing ALL of them to visit you at your house where your step daughter lives...priceless! Then, you BBFS some guys only for 120? You need help.  Do yourself a favor and find a new hobby, because you are putting EVERYONE at risk. Anyone dumb enough to take a reference from you, will be posting about it, I am sure.
