What does it mean to get a white list referral? Is this something to mention when trying to meet a provider?

and everything went just fine.  It can be used as a tool to verify - the provider can see who you've reviewed and who has whitelisted you.

IMHO it's not nearly as good as actual references, but some guys have quite a few and then I suppose it would be just as good as references.

Have fun!!

a reference on DateCheck or an OK on Preferred411.  Can't hurt to have them, but I don't really know how many providers really put a lot of stock in them.  You can mention that you have some if you know that the provider is already a member of this site.  If she isn't a member, it might mean too much to her.

I have been wanted to do this but i cant find how I should go about getting it done. I have spoken about this with the provider i have seen and she has agreed to white list me. But neither one of us can figure out how to go about doing it. Is it something that I need to do or the provider?

She can check the Self-Help Center for the instructions. Self-Help Center is at the top right of most discussion boards under the red and white life preserver. Click on the words "Self-Help Center". It will take you to the info all newbies should read, hobbyist and provider alike.
