I have a TER gentleman who has contacted me from two numbers but claiming same user name.
I asked him to PM me but he says he cannot PM me.

so for future reference, how do you validate a TER member if they cannot PM you?

can PM you.  Having two phone numbers is not unusual - lots of guys have several different phone numbers.  

If you need to verify that he's a TER member for screening purposes, tell him to pony up the $30 to become of VIP member for one month so he can PM you for screening purposes.  

You could even offer to split it with him and knock $15 off the rate when he sees you if you want to be a real sweetheart.

Most guys would be willing to pay the $30 for screening if they wanted to see someone and it was required.

or he is BSing her.

Seperate numbers is not the issue. But if he can't PM you, then you can't really verify him through TER. Anyone can say they are "mrfisher," or "swimtrekr," or "perfectstorm," or even "RebeckaSkyATL," etc., but only the person with the proper login info can PM you from a TER username.

There is another roundabout way: You could ask him to post something specific on a specific board, under the ter handle, then you could check the post, but that is kind of a weird way to do that, and if the guy is too cheap to spend 30 bucks for a month membership, or to submit a problem report to get a couple free days, you may not want to see him anyway.

Or just use other screening info. real name, job, info, provider references, etc.

determine who to see if he can't read the details in the reviews or see the details in the profile. The cost of VIP is way less than the cost of one date gone sour.

I've been asked to post on local board or ISO board as proof I am who I say I am. Ask a random question and include a reference provided by the lady.

i had him reply to a specific board post & we ended up having a good time!
