There are several reasons why p411 okays don't mean much on their own.
The first, and most serious issue: the integrity of the system depends entirely on the integrity of the providers on p411. Do you really think there aren't greedy providers who will gladly hand out okays for $$, or just for the few p411 points? Google the Denver p411 bust, where Denver PD used an account with a few p411 okays from established providers to entrap quite a few established ladies.
Yeah, those accounts got shut down. There are "checks and balances" against abuse of the okay system, but they don't kick in until AFTER a provider gets hurt/ripped off/arrested/etc.
Second of all, an okay on p411 doesn't mean the provider would see that client again. It isn't the "vouch" that many clients seem to think it is. It just means he paid, and she was alive and ok at the end of the appointment. That may be good enough for some ladies, but it sure as hell isn't for me. On quite a few occasions, I've contacted one of a gent's many well-regarded, established okay-givers and gotten a terrible reference. Some real life, personal examples:
-one client had several p411 references respond to tell me he was safe, but had a yeast infection or something similar, with a horrible smell and overall icky experience.
-one client left skid marks all over the providers sheets, even though she'd had him shower at the beginning of the session. They were obvious and impossible to miss, yet the client didn't apologize, tip, or anything. She had to cancel appointments and move to another hotel, since she couldn't go ask housekeeping for fresh sheets a couple of hours after check in.
-clients with STDs, communicable skin diseases, and/or serious hygiene issues; clients who pushed for BBFS, and/or who tried to (or actually did) remove the condom surreptitiously; clients who violated clear menu boundaries, were aggressive/ill-mannered/etc; clients seriously overstaying their time, shorting the fee by a significant amount, etc
-a lady I know well, now retired, had a p411 client (who she'd seen several times before) remove the condom and rape her anally during sex. Greek wasn't on her menu, he didn't ask, it wasn't an ambiguous situation. Afterwards, he requested another appointment, and apologized by saying he "got caught up in the heat of the moment bc it was so good". This wasn't BS- I saw the correspondence, and I drove her home a few months later when she finally had minor surgery due to the damage he did.
This guy is still on p411. He's blacklisted repeatedly for serious shit, yet still gets new okays. That happens because providers continue to trust okays at face value.
I like p411, so I don't want this to be misconstrued. P411 is great for a lot of things. It's a fantastic source for advertising to good clients. It's the best site I've found for finding good providers- the wheat is separated from the chaff one has to dig through on other sites. It makes getting references much easier- but I want to actually get a reference, not just a secondhand announcement that the client is "okay".
Gina is running a business, and it's her job to make money. It ISN'T her job to keep me, or any other provider, safe. Clients provide almost all of the site's income- so they will obviously be her priority. She'll kick a client off if she gets enough complains about serious problems, but if I get ripped off or hurt by a client with okays, it's my word against his. Until some other ladies report a problem, he will stay on the site. I understand that- otherwise BSC providers would get every client who leaves a bad review kicked off the site.
My problem isn't with p411- it's been basically my only source of advertising for long time. It's made my job much easier.
My problem is those who seem to view p411 as a foolproof system that exists to keep us all safe.
I'm not sure how many busts, arrests, or bad outcomes it will take to disabuse everyone of that notion.
