Newbie-friendly hobbyists?? This is almost clique-y in how it's all about the reviews. A girl's gotta start somewhere.

What does one do to find those lovely ladies that are willing to guide us inexperienced gents into this wonderful hobby?  Sites, TER searches... How do we find these ladies???

Concentrate on your regional board and read reviews.  It might take some time.  You could also PM some of the guys that post on your regional board and ask if they know some newbie-friendly providers.

You might post a request on your regional board, telling a little about yourself and what type you're looking for. Who knows, it might be worth a shot to try this on the In Search Of board, too?

In addition to reading providers' reviews, follow the links to their websites. If they don't show stringent reference requirements, they might be newbie-friendly.

I lucked out when I got started last year. I just explained that I was new to this, and the first few girls I contacted had no problem with seeing me.

many providers there are listed as "newbie friendly."  Not only will they be experienced with nervous newbies but they'll also provide you with "OKs" that will make if possible for you to see other providers who require references.  Have fun!

Maybe there should be a "Newbie for Newbie" program.
hehe.
