in addition to the previous answer, I'd suggest to start posting on your regional board to get your name out there.  You are allowed to post an ad on your regional ad board once every 7 days, but you must have a personal website or an ad that you can post a link to on the ad.  If your regional board has picture theme days, your participation in them will also let everyone know what you look like w/o going to your website.

...read all the things you find there. Information about photos, reviews, ads, etc are in the links. Just click on a topic and find what you need.

The link is to the Self-Help Center. You can find it at the top right of most of the discussion boards under the red and white life preserver so you can refer to it whenever you need to. Reading the discussions on this board will help to.
