Just checking things out. I am wondering if this site is for someone who does not have nor wants a website of their own for discretion. I will send potential clients of mine pictures of me that are less than a couple months old if that. I am a petite woman 5'1" 118 lbs.

Without a website or at least an ad on some ad site, you will not be able to post an ad on this site.  You can post on threads to your heart's content, just no ads.  If you opt not to have a personal website, that's completely up to you.  I'm sure there are many other providers that share your feelings about personal sites.

A website is essential in this business if for no other reason, than avoiding a ton of bs. You will spend HOURS sending pics, answering questions about rates, services, availability etc. if you don't have it all easily found in one place, so seriously consider getting a professional site after a few months. I know many women who do fine without one, but they do have to do more screening and deal with time wasters.

There are many "free" escort sites, though I would not recommend them as they don't set you apart from the next girl. Orchid Escort Designs is actually a very reasonably priced company, and James is super professional.

This is a very dangerous business, so don't let anyone kid you. There are so many mistakes I made when just starting out, that could have killed me. London is spot on with regards to all the benefits of having a website, from a providers perspective. From the hobbyists side of things, a lady with a website instantly carries with her a sense of greater legitimacy both against the fear of LE and to reassure us that you take your profession seriously. The lack of info can aslo make us go right to the next girl on our list skipping you entirely.

Of course, there are many fine providers that choose not to have a website so you have to make the ultimate decision. I would start off with a free website and a handul of very carefully edited photos to start so you can dip your toe in the water so to speak and feel comfortable with that level of public exposure before ever considering going bigger.

When I see that, I move on to another lady so it will cost her business, no doubt, but it depends on her goals too. If she has a day job and just wants 1-2 appts week, it may work. Lots of factors though.

For the same reason that you have mentioned, I've never had a website.  I do keep an ad on Preferred 411 with a link to TER.  Sometimes I place an ad on Eros.  You will need some way for the men to know what your rates are.  You shouldn't speak of rates in emails.  When a man contacts me, I'll send them my screening form.  Since I am less visible and provide the important information in my ad, that pretty much eliminates the back and forth of of emails.

As someone mentioned you will get passed by a lot by not having a website.  Over the years, I'm sure I have lost a ton of business.

I don't understand how a website in and of itself puts u at any more risk than an eros ad or p411 one. A website would no more divulge your identity, provided you took the appropriate care, than those other means of advertising so what am I missing?

Many,many women have a ton to lose like yourself but it doesn't stop them from using a website. They choose pics where people who know them wouldn't recognize them and there are techniques in the world of photoshop that would make ID'ing you impossible. But of course no amount of technology will work if it causes you to lose sleep. Thank you both for responding.

That's you. Not all guys are just looking to see the easiest gal out there. Reagan Moore is a Top 100 provider, who has ALWAYS hidden her photos, and it's not affecting her business or her rates, one bit. Many guys want a woman who is not "out there." I've had many guys tell me they won't deal with a flash gallery, and just "move on." Pssst...I have a flash gallery specifically for that reason lol.

Many things can cause a provider to lose business, but many of us don't care. As you said, she does have a day job and a sugar daddy, so I doubt she is looking for a shit load of clients.
