Does it take time for a Visa Gift Card to become activated (to use to buy VIP on TER)? Because I finally thought I had a good anon way to buy a membership, but it keeps declining my card.

Any pointers? Just a Visa Debit Gift Card bought at a Safeway.

True.  It's an issue with the card issuer, and using it for adult websites.

Any suggestions for a somewhat anon way to buy a quarterly membership? I found Amex/Visa/MC Gift Cards, all US only. Anybody have any suggestions?

Do the money order and send it certified.

Some Visa gift cards work, sometimes they don't - its sporodic, but at least if it does not work you can use the card elsewhere and are only out the admin fee.  The ones that require you to "register" are the ones that seem to work - just use a temp email and a fake address (same zip code or close to it as the store that sold/activated it, and they seem to work.

I just keep trying, and about 50% of the time they seem to go thru.

Can I use domestic US money orders or do I need to use an international money order?  I have been told by the local USPS office that the contry the mailing address is in does not accept either forms of payment.
